Our school is full of rules too. None of which are inforced that much. Especially the dress code, the only way you really get in trouble for vilating it is if you walk in in short shorts, and a cleavage bearing spagetti strap tank top. The rule is no flips flops, but no teacher ever says anything about people wearing them, that & sweats.

What I don't get at our school is that people can wear skirts and shorts but they can't wear jeans with a little tiny hole, even if the hole is in the knee or something.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Kids at my school have gotten in big time trouble for just having tiny rips in their jeans, & it's not like they were anywhere noticable.

I know!! It's not a crime to show off your legs with shorts but it's a crime to have your ankle showing through your pants.

Exactly! My schools rule about skirts/shorts is they can't come above mid thigh, but certain girls can get away with it, and other girls can't. That is what really gets at me.
Old perverted men teaching at our school let them off.

The only men that teach in our school are all old..... Hmmm.....
But yeah, I can't believe what most of the girls at my school can wear without grief. Spaghetti straps and even outright strapless shirts are perfectly acceptable, apparently.

^ ya, some of the things girls wore in my public school was... distracting. It didnt make me want to date them anymore or anything, if anything my respect lowered. but they did produce... daydreams. Though casual dresses were different for me. men shud not wax anything it goes against everything I stand for I wish all women shared your POV. Men should not be ashamed of what makes them men, they should embrace it. Just because Ambrocombie models rub oil on themselves to get on shopping bags, doesnt mean we should. In less modern culturls, body hair and beards are considered symbols of vurility and were found to be very attractive. but metrosexual men seems to say to me "I am socially whipped"

I've had a few teachers that told threaten with a referral if they didn't put a sweater on. But anyway, I don't think it's that big of a deal, it's not like they're hurting anyone, just their reputation(I don't see people thinking you're easy, as a good thing) and status with some of their teachers.

Well, I don't mind body hair but I don't want men to have a whole rainforest of it.

Yeah you can control the body hair without overdoing it.
The only things we aren't supposed to wear are spaghetti straps and short shorts. But the school's hot so I will wear tank tops if I want to. And if you send me home then I will happily sit in the air conditioning. But what's the big deal about them anyways. ZOMG A BRA STRAP LOL

Please girls, if you wear a thin white shirt, wear a skin colored bra. Not black, not pink, no polka dots, not even white. We don't want to see it.

We're allowed to wear tank tops if the sleeves are three finger widths across... But nobody really pays attention to that rule at my school. Shorts above mid-thigh are not allowed, but my school doesn't really have a problem with a lot of people wearing short-shorts. They make the building so cold you'd have to be crazy to wear shorts. I have kind of a funny story about people wearing bright bras with see through shirts... A friend on my volleyball team was going to this themed party, and the theme was white trash. She told me she was going to go in a white tank top with a red bra showing through, cutoffs, and high heels... And the very next day a different girl on my team wore that outfit when we went out for lunch. XD
