XD lol, ok hold the fight for just a second... please ^_^
since you came into our thread Falthor and asked us girls a question, I thought I would do the same =D
So. question for the manly men =P
ok so I have a few >_>
1. How come when a guy likes a girl, and the girl finds out and likes the guy... and then the guys finds out that she likes him- he doesn't do anything about it... How come?
And kinda related, when a guy says he likes a girl, but won't do anything because "he doesn't want a relationship right now", is that the truth is it an excuse? and if an excuse... then why? @_@
2. This one is kinda dumb XD I thought about it while I was taking a shower... random fact- just being honest XD
I've heard that guys don't like it when they tell a girl that they're pretty/cute/beautiful ect, and the girl disagrees. Is that true?
stupid questions XD feel free to shoot me >_>

1: . God i hated high-school. First off, that is not at all specific to men, or even guys, thats just the adolocent dating culture. Girls do it even more then guys. Men, dont go gossiping about who they "like". If a man wants a relationship with a girl and is ready for a relationship, he will act on it. If he likes someone but is not in a stable enough place to support a relationship, he will wait... so i cant really comment here, because it sounds specific to the person and personal to you. 2: This is actually a verry good question, and more true to Men in general. If we tell you you are beautiful, It is because we think you are beautiful (or to calm you down) if you challenge us on that, It could be seen as one of a two of things. 1) Are you insulting our judgment? our taste in women? thats hurtful, if a guy thinks you are beautiful, and you choose to be with him, then your beauty (and other positive assets) are a great complement to us. 2) are you vain or insecure? do you challenge our positive jedgment of you because you just want to hear us say "yes, i mean it. no, your still pretty. I already told you! you take my breath away DAMMIT!"... because its not going to happen for long. we know what we like, we like you, that should be the end of it... unless you demonstrate yourself to be crazy. So, in summary, the guy in question #1 sounds like a boy in his current high-school culture. either wait, move on, or show him how to be a man Also, If your guy believes you are beautiful, you best believe it to. because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and while you are with that guy, he is the beholder... so to speak. so believe him when he tells you are beautiful (physical, emotional, or spiritual) my2cents.

Though I'm not a man--I'll venture a guess.
1. Like Zen said, girls and guys do that. We are just as guilty of giving wrong numbers on "accident" or telling a guy we're not looking for a relationship. If a guy tells a girl he likes her but doesn't want to pursue a relationship, then he in reality doesn't like her OR he likes being single just a little bit more than the girl. Usually when it's an excuse, he's just trying to be nice without hurting our feelings. And, like I said, us gals are just as guilty of doing the same thing.
2. Women have a hard time accepting compliments simply because we're so hyper-competitive with each other while trying to achieve the perfect image of beauty. If WE don't look the way we want to, then we won't think we're pretty. It's not that guys don't think we're pretty; we don't think we're pretty. Course, there's two ways around the "fishing for compliments" trick. a. Agree with her when she say she's not pretty. Just say, "Okay fine. You know yourself better than I do, I suppose." After a while, she'll appreciate the praise... ^^ b. Notice things like new hair cuts and new outfits. We do these things for you guys, so if you don't notice them when they happen, we're less inclined to believe we're pretty. Even if you honestly don't care about our new shirt, tell us it looks cute anyway. Why? Because, believe it or not, we enjoy compliments just as much as you guys enjoy...er...well, you get the idea I hope.

I couldn't follow the train of thought on either of your questions all the way to the end. Does that answer your questions? LOL

Bla, I dont want to get into the girl culture of materalistic beauty. how about if we said something "yes, nice haircut, you look beautiful that way, but remember that I would tell you that in whatever haircut... unless you were bald" or how about "yes, you look cute in that shirt, but beauty is only skin deep, and I love you, not your shirt, so could you please take it off? "

Ok, first of all, Zenjamin thanks for making me giggle! Secondly, I agree with you that girls are way to wrapped up in materialistic ideals. Who cares if he likes your new shirt or not, isn't it much more important to know how a guy feels about you and not your stuff? My hubby doesn't care what I wear or how I do my hair, he still loves me even when I look and feel like a total scrub.

Yes thank you *hugs* Spirit got it right men don't care ladies, if we say you look good that means you look good period. Again men don't play games thats the truth and we give a complement we don't like it getting thrown back in oour face.

How come when a guy likes a girl, and the girl finds out and likes the guy... and then the guys finds out that she likes him- he doesn't do anything about it... How come? Because he's an idiot. I haven't seen that occur in my life, both with myself and with my friends. You probably just got the short end of the stick. Sorry. I haven't had any experience in that kind of field. And kinda related, when a guy says he likes a girl, but won't do anything because "he doesn't want a relationship right now", is that the truth is it an excuse? and if an excuse... then why? @_@ That means one of two things: - He really doesn't want his popularity or his manliness to be ridiculed. - He really doesn't want a relationship. 2. This one is kinda dumb XD I thought about it while I was taking a shower... random fact- just being honest XD I've heard that guys don't like it when they tell a girl that they're pretty/cute/beautiful ect, and the girl disagrees. Is that true? stupid questions XD feel free to shoot me >_> Because the girl asks him many times. It gets annoying from time to time.
