I just get today. I think we're the only school in the area to not have a real spring break.

^You need to talk to your parents about changing schools, that "break" makes no sense at all. School isn't that important.

@astronomy - You don't get a break in late April either? I'm only off today, but like around April 20th we get a week off. It sucks if you don't.

Why does everyone have such short Spring Breaks?
Of course my mom said today that our school board was slowly edging towards making us go all year long.

Ohh man that sucks, I would go insane if school lasted all year without breaks...
My spring break is coming up next week! Yay! =D Mine's only like a week long too, I don't know why the man is being so stingy.

Actually there would breaks ever so often. We'd go a while, and then get off for like three weeks.

^^ I don't think I could do that. I need a nice long summer vacation. I live in Massachusetts nd it's too hot to go to school in the summer and we don't have air conditioning in school. Or fans. And there's rooms on the third floor without windows. So it's torture by May.

This year we get out on May 21, and will probably have go back sometime in mid-August. I wish we could get out untill September like they used to.

My school only has air conditioning on the first floor and in the dean's offices. And all my third floor classes are in the hottest rooms!! And of course, the fan doesn't reach where my desk is so i'm toasting, practically dying, in my seat while everyone else is just chilling. ughh! Curse my school for being so old! *ranting over* Is it true that Easter isn't going to be this early for another 100 years?

I go to school from early September until late June with three 1 week breaks in the middle. No air conditioning and a broken heat system that is too hot or too cold in winter and sometimes goes on in summer. It also makes this wicked loud banging noise sometimes and sounds like it's going to explode.
The school's really old too. It was designed by people in Texas who don't get much rain or snow, and we get both, so it has a flat roof. The roof holds all the snow and rain so it leaks a lot.

No air? I could live with that...*is always extremely cold in class*
My school is pretty new, it was rebuilt in 2001(both middle and high school)...and it's huge; 3 floors, over 1000 computers in middle and high school(by that I mean, 1000+ in MS and 1000+ in HS)...yes we are considered a rich school, mainly cause we have some of the highest standardized test scores in Pennsylvania , and our taxes are sky high ;_;
