This thread is dedicated to the new Wii game Wii Fit. I got the game and I've been playing all weekend. So far I've been enjoying myself. The game is kind of like a Wii Sports for the new balance board. It's fun but don't expect anything mind blowing in terms of depth. Other than that the game and the Balance Board is awesome.

Yes I do agree with your statement fuego. Wii Fit is no substitute for a trip to the gym, but it does give you balancing and toning workout. Constantly playing the game isn't going to turn you into a body builder, much like how playing Wii Sports isn't going to make you a pro-athlete but it does offer some good at home exercises (think Iroh in prison). So it is possible to play the game and lose a little bit of weight and gain some muscle. The main thing though is that the mini-games and interactive exercises keep you entertain while you'll working out. For me that's the part that gets me in the gym (working out and being bored out of mind).

I don't see the need for it when you can go run around without spending money. On the ad when it says "And you can weigh yourself!" it lost me. I don't need a video game telling me about my weight, thank you very much.
