Yeah, and it would probably take me a year to write. It's kinda long. And kinda epic.

What is the bet between you guys? I'd like to hear / read the Sokkla scenario, too.

If Azula's redeemed I have to write a Sokkla fanfiction. And I don't normally care for fanfiction. The fact that I like the idea I came up with so much is evened out by the fact that I'm forced to use pre-established characters and settings, and can't use the idea with as much freedom and sense of personal accomplishment and creation I'd normally get.

XD though, now you've gotten me curious as to what this epic plotline of yours is. hm...two more months to the finale, and it'll be about a year since we made the bet too! Hey, that's kinda cool, it'll definitely wrap things up nicely ^^

I mean epic as in big and long and complicated, not epic as in good ;p
I'll leave that up to the reader to judge.
I think it's pretty good...I swear I'm almost considering writing it even if I win.
and it might have gotten me into fanon sokkla a little bit

Ah, I hope she gets killed. Since it's a Nick show I don't see it's happening. But I'm going to hate it if she "turns good" like Zuko. Too much cheese. And it would take away from the uniqueness of Zuko's transformation.

^^Don't worry, it's not gonna happen. She wasn't meant to be redeemed. And besides, M&B can't get it in now, not enough time. And if they did, it would be more than cheese. She'd literally have to be in a scne where she wakes up and says "Wow Zuzu was right, all that daddy's doing IS wrong!" She loves power and control way too much, she likes being rotten and evil, and lives to see others suffer. In my eyes, the best writers in the world can't save her now.

Zuko turns good. Mai turns good. Ty Lee turns good.
Azula turning good which just be more ridiculous than it's already gotten. As well as disappointing and forced.

Before I delve into my highly negative answer, I'll pose a question of my own. Why do so many people WANT Azula to be redeemed? ... Azula is too far gone... and she should remain that way. Anything less will undermine Zuko's -- and even Iroh's -- redemption. A sudden turnaround -- and it would be sudden -- should not eclipse what has taken episodes ( and, in Iroh's case, years ) to realize. I don't think it should be attempted, nor hinted at. I am going to have to agree, and thinking about it, the best she could hope for is to get exiled (which is probably what would happen if Zuko becomes Fire Lord, but if Iroh becomes Fire Lord she would probably just get sent to some rehabilitation center) Ah, I hope she gets killed. Since it's a Nick show I don't see it's happening. But I'm going to hate it if she "turns good" like Zuko. Too much cheese. And it would take away from the uniqueness of Zuko's transformation. Hmmmm, even though its a Nick show, she has been doing some crazy stuff, I wouldn't put it past them to kill her off even on Nick ^^Don't worry, it's not gonna happen. Yea I think she would already know that what Ozai is doing is wrong, I just don't think she cares too much because that puts her in the seat of power of the WORLD after she offs her dad Zuko turns good. Mai turns good. Ty Lee turns good. Azula turning good which just be more ridiculous than it's already gotten. As well as disappointing and forced. Ty Lee is bad? I think she is just following along with her "friend" and possibly real friend, and Mai doesn't really seem to care to be aligned either which way. Besides, they are Fire Nation, they were told they were the superior race since birth and all that stuff like that, Mai and Ty Lee are pretty good for someone raised in a place like that But yes, it would just be wrong and terrible for Azula to somehow turn good

^^But it would seem that Mai actually BELIEVES what she's been told. Ty Lee as well to some extent, we've seen it. Zuko seemed to question alot of things at a very early age.
But I always thought that Ty Lee wasn't all that bad and she followed Azula more for the fact that she scared the bejesus out of her. I thought that was a given. But, I'm not so sure about Mai. She said to Zuko's face that he was betraying the FN, so she seems to believe what she was taught. And we've NEVER seen her question it, not even a little.

I think Mai believes it as well, but what I meant to say was that for someone who was taught all those things, she is extremely neutral about choosing sides, in the end she might just follow Ty Lee who doesn't seem bad at all she is just following commands her princess/"friend" gives her, I don't think she is following Azula mostly because of how scary she is, I think it also has to do with the fact that she is princess and so she must follow the royalty, its what you do

^^I know what you are saying. I'm sure Azula being a princess had a bit to do with it, but I'm still betting on the fear element was a bigger part in it for Ty Lee.
I don't quite get what you mean about Mai being neutral though. I haven't seen anything that I feel qualifies as neutral. She only went against Azula because of Zuko, not because she's neutral. By what M&B have given us about Mai, it would seem that she'll do whatever for Zuko, not because she believes in the cause. I do hope they do something to the contrary, but for now, this is just how they seem to have her character set up.
