So, there is that chance that TFM will air today. Ooooh well. I won't be surprised if it happens again. As I said earlier, to me, the whole world is connected so whatever airs in another country regardless of where you are ends up in your home country anyways. Feels pretty much the same as if it aired in your own country. >_> The only difference with the way entertainment around the world works currently is that we have to wait. Wait.. Wait.
So three hours, thirty minutes, and counting....

^ Ah... Uh.. Well, if you live in Canada and recorded it, you're legal. If you watch it outside of Canada, then, you're watching it illegal since it hasn't aired in your country. (For me, I'm technically legal since I'm itunes pass user...but I rather go buy the DVD anyways.) And if you live in The Thousand Islands area with half the border of Canada and US in-between you, I'd consider the person with the small island that goes into Canada's border lucky.

Pfft, I've been watching TV shows "illegally" for years now. It's the same as letting your American friend burrowing a tape that has recorded on it a Canadian show, it makes no difference.

It's not the people watching, or even downloading, that they're after...it's the people who upload it or try to sell the illegal copies that get into trouble...

Yeah well, if I watch it illegally, I doubt they could find you right? I mean...arrest me for watching a kid's television show? 0.0 Sounds quite absurd. But then again, some laws are absurd so I don't know. Since a lot of people around the world have seen earlier aired episodes of Avatar already, of course not. It's just about as equal as all that english licensed manga running online illegally but they get away with it anyways. Also, some people out there don't have televisions so they can only watch via the internet. In Nandi's case, Australia is far behind in Avatar. Since the itunes Avatar season 3 pass doesn't reach out of the US, she has no choice but to do what other people are doing. Then, there's the people who can't wait so they do it and the people who can resist by waiting. ^_^ Edit: And as Nandi puts it, the major coorps will pretty much go after the "source" of the illegal stuff. Although, I've read that one news story of a kid who was charged for watching illegal stuff but that was anime, I think. Edit 2: Anyways, the major coorps do target unfairly. They do a lot of unnecessary stuff sometimes. *stabs Viacom*

poop. back in character again. Ty-Lee Nandi> Mai Nandi Actually...I think I'm more Toph Nandi... [In Nandi's case, Australia is far behind in Avatar. Since the itunes Avatar season 3 pass doesn't reach out of the US, she has no choice but to do what other people are doing. Indeed. I have stated many a time that if I were able to PAY and watch the episodes legally I would do so...but they give me no option to take that path. That said...I DO buy the Region 1 DVD as they come out (I had to get a region-free DVD player to watch them), and I also get the Region 4 ones (my local region ) as they're released (but they are WAY behind). By not sharing it with the entire world they've forced a lot of us to do something that we otherwise wouldn't do. And how much more money could they make via iTune downloads if the entire world could buy them?

I respect that...
But even if you don't upload it you can still spoil us silly, right? Assuming it airs...

It could all be just a rumor, but im hoping it really is a new episode. Ive been dying to see it forever. I usually really get into Avatar halfway through the season, realizing Ive missed the first half of the season... then I watch all the episodes online with no wait... and then I get really impatient for the second half of the season.
