Information was released that Zuko's mother was banisihed. In "Day of Black Sun 2: The Eclipse" Ozai did tell Zuko that his mother was part of the plot for Ozai to obtain the throne and be next for Fire Lord. He said treason... He probably walked into Azula and Ursa when Azula nagged Zuko blantly saying that "dad's going to kill you". Azula probably made it look like her mother hurt her in some way to get rid of her. Even at an early age we see Azula as practically a ruthless firebender, who is clever and patient, just like her hertige promised her to be. Ursa begged for Zuko's life and probably was the one in on FIrd Lord Azulon death, which I believe was murder. Azula probably gets some flashbacks with her mom, and they haunt her deeply. It'll be intresting that if Ursa does return, to whom does she appear to first. one would assume zuko, but why not keep the pressure on Azula and watch her crack. Azula hasn't captured the Avatar, be that it's true that she came dangerously close to killing Aang in the Avatar State, other than that Azula hasn't even matched Aang and won in a duel.

I'd say Ursa appears first in front of Azula. It'll give the viewers the "she's so close but yet, still so far" feeling. Maybe a few more flashbacks but I don't think they're needed that much for Azula.
Azula: *stares at mirror and angrily thinks* How can I lose to those brats and my traitorous brother!? How!? Ursa: You were always problematic when you were young. Just like your father. Azula: *freezes, sees Ursa, grabs her hairbrush and throws it at the mirror* *mirror breaks* *camera pans into Azula's face and then blackens out* I bet that was an illusion created by Azula's own inner fear. Azula fears being weak.
And when Ursa appears in front of Zuko, it'll be a happy reunion. ^_^

tg, you're not spoiling yourself for the finale, are you? XP
and I don't think Ursa would tell Azula she was problematic. If it's really an illusion, then the illusion should say what Azula always wanted to hear her mother say, except that she wants that subconsciously, and consciously she thinks she doesn't, or that "love makes her weak".

I think Ursa is dead. Ozai told Zuko of his mother's banishment, but I think it did it out of spite. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he went to where she was and killed her just to cause Zuko pain. It is also strongly hinted that Ursa all but killed firelord Azulan. I don't think she would be banished by something as trivial as Azula's complaints.

I don't believe that Ursa died. With the many flashbacks and what we learned its not likely. After all it was Ozai that said she was banished for treason and that she was "perhaps alive". Ozai probably knows Ursa is around but isn't quite sure where she is. That is why I believe she is with the members of the White Lotus. She had to find some refuge and it's really the best safe place for her. Ozai wanted the throne, he wanted the power, he wants to gain control and dominate the world. Now we know thats not going to happen.

tg, you're not spoiling yourself for the finale, are you? XP Nooope. I haven't taken one step into the Sozin's Comet thread at all. I haven't seen any book spoiler yet that I came across by accident. I'm very patient for July. So, any speculation by me so far is based on the trailer.

Not knowing builds the anticipation. I really hope the finale is the best of them all. At this point, it sure has a lot to live up to

Thanks. ^_^ Sorry to hear that a lot of you guys couldn't hold it any longer. Haha. Telling by the amount of posts in Sozin's Comet, yep... I can see who's weak already. There are a lot of easy ways to distract you from Avatar. For one thing, travelling. Another thing, reading different manga (with stories that make you very impatient for them more than Avatar). Third thing could be sports. School work could be another (for those who aren't on summer break yet). And so and so on.
