I saw the new preview, and I could not even finish watching it. It was just so cheesy, and just didn't look right at all. I will probably go see it anyways, just to see.
Kirsten Stewart is the girl who plays Bella. I used to like her. lol.

Twilight's coming out November 21 now I guess. It's taking the Harry Potter movie's place. :/ I'm not exactly positive that this is true but I think it is.

Ron Jeremy should've been Edward.
Oh, and a sack of flour for Bella. Cuz she does a lot.

I don't think it will be a good movie. The only reason I enjoyed the first book was because Stephanie Meyer's writing style was quite likable. Without that going for it, the movie's just going to be nonplot with mediocre characters.

It's true, this movie isn't going to be the greatest thing out there. Couldn't the director or whoever was in charge of giving the movie the title say that the movie was inspired by the book but not name the movie after the book. Stephenie Meyer is such a sell out. I admired her. Now, all I can think of doing when I think of her is shake my head in disappointment. Whatever, my friends are making me watch this either way. - -;;

What? It's based on the book, it's an adaptation. I don't see where you're going with that. You really can't begrudge the author for allowing an adaptation to happen, that hardly makes anyone a sell-out.
But as I said before, I see no real reason this movie could end up being good.

Well, You and I both think differently. I still think she's a sell-out. *shrugs*

Yay Aanglover!! I totaly agree with you. I can't wait for the movie! Everyone here seems so critical. The movie looks sooo good! I think they got the right people for the roles. And I don't think Stephanie Meyer is a sell-out. She didn't go, "oh please make a movie out of my book!!", the director WANTED to do it, cuz she's a fan too. BTW, Rob is so perfect for Edward. Seriously hott!!

Well, You and I both think differently. I still think she's a sell-out. *shrugs* So every author who ever allows an adaptation to be made is a sell-out? Sorry, but that seems a tad dumb. Also who the h ell put together this poster and thought that Robert Pattison looked like anything other than terrifying and hideous? Jasper and Alice though, I'd totally hit it.

Woow. How my opinion has changed since I first posted in this thread. I am going to see the movie, and am actually looking forward to it because Robert!Edward is extremely sexy!. I have actually come to like, and accept the cast as the best they could do. I mean really, people have had the cast in their mind for ages, they couldn't possibly live up to everyone's imaginations could they? Probably not.
I am going to see the Twilight movie with an open mind.

Good for you, Cara!! I'm going to go see it with a co-worker and her friend (we are huge Twilight fans!!!). I definetely looking forward to it cuz I'm reading the movie campanion, and it says how they did the filming. Sounds like they kept VERY faithful to the book. Fans of the novel should be pleased.
