The Great Happiness Space: Tale of an Osaka Love ThiefFor all you people out there that know what I mean when I say Japanese Host and for those who don't this is a must watch movie. This is a documentary about the men who are paid for their company which would make them sort of gigolo/escorts in Japan. They doll themselves up and roam the streets to catch the eye of some well financed lady to woo into spending money and that's all there is to it. Or is it? TGHS shows such depth of emotion from the host to the patrons that you can't help my feel for them as they all struggle to try and find something of worth in themselves whether they pay for the reassurance or not. It's an eye opening experiences that makes you ask yourself if there really is such a think in our world. It's like culture shock. Official Site: www.thegreathappinessspace.com/www.boingboing.net/2007/08/07/great-happiness-spac.htmlAnyone seen this yet? If not GO WATCH IT. Or Download and then watch it if you can't find it. Tell me what you think of it after.
