I think people fear the unknown, or the possibility of not existing at all more so than the actual act of dying. Course I agree with Luna in that after I die, I can't really feel upset about it. If anything I fear dying before finding out what happens at the end of Avatar. but not before the live action movie XP

That's a good way to put it! Exactly, people definitely fear the unknown. I personally don't want to stop existing, either. Ahh, how I wish I could be immortal. I'd definitely do it if I could share it with at least *one* person. Karma, btw

Aw, sank you! ^^ And karma back for making this profound thread.
Immortality would be good. But that's assuming the physical plane itself is unchanging, i.e. the sun doesn't explode and/or a meteor doesn't destroy the planet.

Thanks! <3 Please, what's your real username? By your original join name and your new one I can't tell Anyways, yes! See, if I was to die when the world died, I would have no problem. That's selfish, but if everyone was ending at the same time, there would be no one to leave behind to be sad, nothing to miss. ^^;

*muahahaha! wait, my join name is unfamiliar?? T.T* I'm the CountessRachel...spec-mod of CT board...
Oh yeah, that would definitely make sense. It would either be that or float through space for all eternity. I would just see death like a really long, dreamless sleep or, even more like the period of time that you can't remember anything before you were about 3 yrs old.

Lol, don't worry, it's mainly because I never visit the CTB
Yeah...I can't decide what I think will be after life. Because that question leads to the question of "Why are we here in the first place?" and that just hurts my brain to think about.

^The human mind cannot understand it. Its too high a plane of thought for us.
@boogie: I've asked you a few times before who you were,and when I don't ask you,I find out.

Because that question leads to the question of "Why are we here in the first place?" and that just hurts my brain to think about. I don't think anyone knows why we're here, or what we're for. My only logic on that is we should leave behind as much memories and legacy as we can so the future generations can learn from us and our mistakes.
