I've been thinking about these sorts of things since I was probably six, so thinking about death doesn't really scare me anymore. But the idea that if I do die, and there is not thing as heaven or hell and that my energy of a human being will no longer be existant is something I'm still working on mentally.

That's very interesting, beantown. So maybe you influenced someone else's life, like a grandchild thus your life continues longer? And maybe you did your due and that's why you die early and since it's not a natural death, other events take course to end your life. Yeah, I think you're kind of close with that. I don't understand fully understand that theory yet. I agree much more with another theory I learned in a religion class I'm taking right now. The soul has two functions: 1. it is the life force for the body, and 2. it unifies the body. Our spirituality depends on how we choose to use the energy that our soul gives us. It's helpful to look at our energy as if it were a horse. We must learn how to ride this horse at the speed we want it to go. If a person restricts their energy too much, they will never get anything done. If they do not control their energy at all, they will be carried away and their soul will become scattered. When the soul becomes too restricted or too scattered, the soul will leave the body. Remember, the soul gives the body energy, and it unifies the body. When the soul leaves the body, it takes its energy with it and so the body will stop living. The soul is no longer there to unify the body, and therefore the body immediately begins to decompose.

I used to be, but then I died. Orly? Tell me, what was it like? Thrilling, frightening? You must give details

I'd rather not die but I can see how people accept it. Life doesn't hold meaning without death really.

I'm not afraid of the concept of death, but thinking too hard about how I will die scares me a bit. I fear that my death might be painfully drawn out, or just painful in general. But I'm not afraid to die.

I used to be, but then I died. Orly? Tell me, what was it like? Thrilling, frightening? You must give details Well, first, you're just, like, living. Then you suddenly feel like 'wtf' and you get very light in your head. It's a weird feeling, you don't feel your body anymore. Then you feel your heart beating - just that, not the rest of your body. Your heart beats slower every second, until it stops. At that moment, you feel your whole body tremble, and then it's just finished.

i hurted myself bad , and everything blackened out I think that is what being death feels...i felt...peace for the first time in my life

I'm not afraid of the initial aspect of being dead, but I don't want to die in just any way.

I am not afraid of death, to me its just another form of living, with a somewhat clean slate...depending on how you lived your first slate...if it wasn't that great, like murders, then they are in a world of Hell, literally...
