^Bugs don't like us, so we don't have to like them!

My camera is not that good - this spider was huge! the back part of the body was about the size of a quarter! I think I found it.

Cool spider! I love spiders, I always go out in my backyard to see them. I used to have a spider almost that size in my yard with different coloring. It was a golden silk spider (also known as the banana spider) and it had a huge web (over 1 meter long!). But then it died. . . The other spiders in my yard are crab spiders. I love playing with their webs, but they find it bothersome! ;D And GranGran, don't touch the spider. IT MIGHT BE VENOMOUS!!! But if you really want to touch it for some odd reason, Google spiders with those colors native to your area. Sorry about your spider. One time I saw this spider and I screamed and I stepped on it. And then I started crying because I felt horrible. The Hindus believe that if you're bad in a past life, then you'll come back poor or a bug. He he he. I'll admit I did like spiders at one time, but now I don't. But I try not to kill them. I'm very sentimental what can I say. azula: At least you can find a spider attractive, I used to think they were, but then I saw how many eyes they have. I know they probably think I'm ugly, ok I get it. I think it's a Orb Spider, common in southern states and sometimes in the north. I'll sadly admit it is beautiful. Wah wah wah! Sorry.
