Karatelover: No, no dicimos "vosotros". We say "usted" o "nosotros" or "ustedes". shadow Neko: I think: "Uno por Uno los Penguinos robaron mi sanidad!". ;D You can say Kitten like "Gatito", "Gato", either way. @pleading Eyes: It is odd sounding, now that I think about it. "Solo Zuko" would be better, but then it'd translate like you said, to "Only Zuko". Zuko no estas solitario. Porque tiene muchos muchahas que le gustan mucho. Hey, doesn't "solitario" kind of sound like "bachelor" or is it just me? xD Here is where I got the origianl translation from. Rocio, she's from Argentina right? Well I guess they say something different.

Yeah, most spanish cultures don't have the same spanish tongue. I know Mexican spanish is totally different from Dominican spanish. Same with Puerto Rican spanish. Like, some of the slang words. I can't remember any right now, but I know a lot of curse words that all mean the same but have different words.

Haha. Bachelor Zuko. XD
Well I guess we could say "Zuko en soledad." Translate to "Zuko in solitude." Still sounds kind of off, but I like it better than bachelor solitary Zuko!
Oh geez, Spanish is such a varied language! That's because 2/3 of the world speaks it! And you have to be careful. What's a normal word in some countries, is a curse word in others.

Wow so I guess that there are all kinds of dialects in Spanish. I thought it was seperated from Castelian and Latian Amercian. BTW, do you know what the Castelians are saying most of the time?

@pleading Eyes: You know, "Zuko en Soledad" just makes him sound emo. aaaay que solo estoy! Me miro en el espejo y pregunto quien soy yo! Omg if any of you guys know what song I'm singing I will love you forever You're right about what one word can mean to another culture. I know there's this word in dominican spanish that is harmless in other cultures, but really offensive to us. I forgot which one it was. Karatelover: From the looks of it, Castelian Spanish and Latin American spanish are the same. I think they meant spanish from the mother country, which I believe is Spain. I'm not really sure, I just checked Wikipedia on it because I wasn't really sure about it. Geez, I'm such a bad Hispanic. xD I hardly know spanish/most of other spanish cultures.

I have a similar problem. Reading in Spanish takes me longer, because my brain wants to translate it into English first. Y ni quiero tratar escribir en espanol. Yo nunca aprendi escribir y leer en espanol. Solo en ingles. Solo se leerlo y escribirlo porque el espanol se escribe como suena. Foneticamente.

Sokka: Yo se rusio, yo aprehendar rusio y esponal. "I want to be an interpreter for both if possible". Te necisito recordar "Mas praticar es mas perfecto". What I'm trying to say is, pratice makes perfect.

A great idea to pick up Spanish is to hang around Spanish speaking people. That's why I created this thread so that everyone can help each other out with their knowledge of Spanish, wheiter it's their own tounge, or if they're learning. I pick up Spanish pretty easily when I'm on the internet with my Mexican pen pal Roxi. She's smart. She not only studies English but also French. No hablo con frances. I don't speak French. But either way it helps me.

Really? I had to take Spanish classes in High School. They wouldn't let me take frances! Also, me gusta hablar en "Spanglish". Mi maestra, Ms. Chen, siempre dijo "Mujeres de la Clase de Espanol! Nunca habla en Spanglish. It's incorrect". Yet I do it all the time, jajaja.
Ohh, I see. Being an interpreter would be fun. Es la verdad que dices amiga! Voy practicar mas en mi espanol a ver si puedo hablar/escribir mejor en mi lengua. Escuchas musica en Espanol? La musica en Espanol es muy lindo. La letras son muy romantica, y me gusta escuchar musica en Espanol. <3
