I'm a big Carolina Panthers fan and an even bigger fan of Julius "red hot chili" Peppers. However, he had a very questionable season this past year and I'm starting to question his work ethic. Due to his past success (which is still recent), I'm figuring the Panthers could get alot for him right now and considering he is entering the last year of his contract, it wouldn't be a big cap issue if we did trade him. I'm still mulling over if this is a good idea or not. What do the rest of you guys think?

hell 2 da naw r u kidding me you put the franchise tag on him next year and then resign him for a longterm deal. you do not want to let the nfl's best pass rusher get away. not at all a good move even if it is his free agent year. it means he will be at is best so he can earn more money in next year's offseason.

Heck no, Peppers is still one of the top DE's in the NFL today. They need to get someone else on that line that can help him though. I'm sure they can do that in the Draft.

Yeah, Carolina does need to improve on both sides of the ball, but shipping off a top tear defensive end is not the answer. Unless, there looking to rebuild, in which case, I'd fire everyone! Just playing.

Depends. If he doesn't want to be there then there's no reason to keep him. He's not going to play well and he's still going to ask for tons of money. Wait and look at the offers.
