Notable:
ESPN Headline: HOUSE BROKEN.
Michigan lost their opener to..... Appalachian State ?? HAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!
They're not even in Division I-A! It's the first time a ranked team has lost an opening game to a school in a lower division. C'mon Michigan, you are making the rest of the Big Ten look bad. Props to AS. They played a great game!
Watching Cal versus Tennesee right now. It's not very far into the game, but so far, Cal looks like they are on a mission.

Appalachian State is this generation's Marshall. I'm not all that surprised. All the analysts are calling it one of the greatest upsets of all time. You have to be surprised. In other news: Do we really need sensational news reporting in every aspect of TV? One of the Vol players got injured in the last few minutes of last night's CAL/Tennessee game. The sideline reporter said, "He is unable to move his hands or feet!" Minutes later they are carting him off, and he is clearly moving his arm and hand.

The best team in Division 1-AA (Which, I might add, it is only in because it's a fairly small school) beat an overrated Michigan team. Marshall did it all the time.

marshall is in div 1 and the have had some great atheletes over the years. they actually went undefeated or had a really good record fairly recently. they ahd randy moss and chad pennington at the same time. there are only 28 appalachian state players in the nfl as of now.

But big name 1-A schools. Like Michigan, USC, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, Texas, et al? I find that hard to believe. However, you have piqued my interest, so I will have to look that up.

Well, Michigan just showed us that maybe AS beating them wasn't quite the upset everyone thought it was, heh.

LSU looked good last Saturday, Skye. I'm rather worried about my Buckeyes this week. They play Washington, and they are a team and a coach out to prove something. We were barely able to hold onto the ball last Saturday against the Akron Zips.
