He hit #756 against Washington Nationals' pitcher Mike Bacsik in the bottom of the 5th inning in San Francisco's AT&T Park. Sorry I don't have a source, but I just saw it on tv about... four minutes ago. And yes, I do live in San Francisco, and I am neither pro-Barry Bonds or anti-Barry Bonds. I'm neutral ya'll. So, any thoughts, hate-posts, congratulations?

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THE NATIONALS!?
He doesn't deserve it. He's at most a 600 hitter.

I cheered for him,I hope they dont take it away from him if he really did use steroids.

Well they sure had no problems with making an example of Rose, who was one of the best players in history. Make an example of Bonds too, if he is found guilty. Strip those HRs away. Hopefully other players will think twice before juicing up.

good for him thats all i have to say. until i get some hard proof. like a positive test because those haven't happened. i mean he has been tested recently and at 43 he still has the capability to crank out homer after homer. he is three in the last six games. so good for barry Ryan Braun will break the record

At this point it doesn't matter if he was juiced or not, the doubt is there and will always shadow his record.

Congrats, Bonds. It doesn't matter if he was on steroids or not. But if he did, I think he should be punished, but not take away his title. He still had to be skilled enough to hit the ball and come to the games. Good for you, Barry Bonds!

Anyone from the ATL (like me) will tell you Hank Aaron is still the homerun king.
Bonds was on steroids. Like historyman said, just look at him then and now. I believe that they need to get some hard evidence and strip him of his title, because he doesn't deserve it.

LMAO @ Ryan Braun. I'm assuming you're referencing his 15 homers in 50 games, a feat which Albert Pujols beat.

Meh, he doesn't deserve it. He himself, admitted that he took steroids. His only defence was: "I didn't know they were steroids." Supposedly, he's also very mean to his teamates and the giants staff. So in my opinion, Hank Aaron is still the rightful holder of the most homeruns title.

You would break a record that high if YOU were to juice.
