Even though I'm very skinny, I still love to exercise. I love being in shape. However, now and then I slip up on the ice cream and Burger King. But I'm trying. Ok so I'm making this thread for the I love to exercise, I want to look hot in a swimsuit/speedo lovers, or you just want to look hawt naked. Hey whatever you fancy. Oh yeah, everyone must know by now, that before you even begin to indulge yourself in long term sports activites you have to be fit, or else you end up on your knees on the gound, gasping for air and maybe asking for a cigarette. Ok so my workout usually consist of Cardio(treadmill 2-3 miles or the Elliptical Trainer) Then it's a Core workout which focuses on Balance of the lower/upper back, losts of sit up's, crunches, sit ups with a pulse, side crunches etc. Then if I'm not dying already a slow cool down with some yoga moves. I only do this on nonconsecutive days. The other days I usually just do a mile run or some tone up moves with the 3 lb. exercise handles. Woo!! That's a lot. Anyone else exercises during the week/weekend/night/morning?? I can't be the only one. And no one better dare put my daily exercise consists of sitting on the counch and logging onto Dh while sniffing ___. Don't even think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sniffing what? Well, I go to the Dojang three times a week. Pretty all around exercise, cardio, and stuff, plus of course the basic KB techniques! I was going swimming on the off days... but I hate it...as well as running... I need to hit the weights though, I have reached a limit right now just doing push-ups...

Walk every morning at 5 with my doggies.
I have to get back into a cardio groove though. Since my move, I have dropped my workouts like a bad habit, and have gotten chunky. =p
I usually do cardio 4 days a week, alternating 48 minutes and 24 minutes. I do upper body strength twice a week. I try not to overdo it on the weights though, 'cause my upper physique is already huge. I don't need to be adding any more bulk.
I used to think low weight/high reps = tone, but I just recently read in a couple of places that is not the case(?) I guess I have to get back to swimming for that. I'll just have to convince grangran it's a race/contest for honor so she'll swim too. =]
Hmmm... you know what would be a good idea? Post your 100 Meter crawl time, gran. I'll do the same. It's a pretty good measure of fitness.

No worries, I am in no hurry either. I will start posting in this thread with my times. You can if you want to. It's the only timed thing I am willing to tackle. Running, et al just bores me.

My friend, BoomerangBlue, and I do this Mandalorian(Yes, Star Wars referance) Challange thing. xD It's mainly because she REALLY wants to be a marine, and want to prepare herself--and I'm just doing it for support. ^^
In the morning (or whatver time of day I have free) I do reps of pull ups, push ups, sit-ups, sqauts, and jumping jacks(which I still think do nothing...) and I try to run at least a mile three times a week. +Lacrosse conditioning

It put me into the best shape of my life. I worked up to where I could onsite 5.10c, and started getting into traditional climbing (you know, climbing with hardware like cams and nuts). We went all over Colorado and some parts of Wyoming (Vedauwoo FTW !!!), and I ran out of routes to climb because I could never comfortably get into leading 5.11+ routes. I have some crazy stories from those adventures...heh.

I try to incorporate a CORE workout similar to yours, but I've been busy lately, so I stick to cardio.

I actually enjoy running, it relieves me of stress. I run five miles a day at the least, lift weights two days a week, and do several sets of crunches in a days time. I'm not doing this for the sole purpose of looking good. I'm trying to get strong so I can have a good cross-country season. Oh! My friends and I have started doing yoga together, but seeing as we just started we are...not good at it.

NOOOO, no diet! We do life styles... because it should be a habit eating t=right, not a temporary constrain! fine grangran wants me to change it back to looking "hawt"!!! 8-) But dieting is good for you, makes me healthy and live a very LONG LIFE!!!!!!!!!(thinks of icecream!!) Tell me bout it! Starting yoga is not fun, but I started a long time ago for a little while, what's called Bikram yoga. Basically, you're in a super hot room and some of the moves were a little different. But one of the benefits is that the extreme high temperture of the room relaxes muscles and provides you extra flexibility for doing some of those positions. Additonally, it's one of the best CORE workouts you can ever do. But let me tell you, I came out of there looking like a took shower and didn't dry off. :( But speaking of this, I never tried Pilates before, I heard that can be pretty intense as well. :o

I know a lot of people swear by pilates...I have been told about bigram yoga... but being in bama now with a busted A/C.... you can keep it! =P
Ice cream is actually good for you, just don't eat a gallon and get the stuff with natural ingredience!
The mystic of Yoga...LOL, you look at it, a lot of the stuff has been done as stretch for a long time!
