The one thing that really kills the US teams (both men and women) are the floor and the pumel-horse. I'm not sure why, but we don't do very well in those two areas. I really enjoy watching the teams compete in the High Bars. They do some truely amazing stuff!

I love watching the Olympics. I've been watching swimming, gymnastics, beach volley ball, and diving every night. I'm a competitive swimmer so it's really great to watch the best of my sport, and it's great that all of my friends are more interested in swimming because of the Olympics (swimming's not a real big sport in my area).

I can't believe the Chinese team is trying to pass off preteens as 16 year olds. Unfortunately, since they can falsify every record they have of their citizens, they can't get pinned for it. Seriously, there are like three girls on their team that look around 10-11 years old. >.< tbh, i actually think some of them are 16. i use to be a scrawny chinese girl (now, i'm normal-sized, lol) and I know a lot of people who look like ridiculously young/small but aren't...so yeah. I almost actually got to GO to the olympics this year. I kinda wish I had, but plans fell through. The opening ceremonies were probably better broadcasted then live anyway, especially since some of the fireworks were digitally added. lol

Even if they are underage, they can't just take the metals back from them. They already won, and there's nothing really anyone can do.
Again, Wei Yang (for China) has grabbed the Gold for the Men's Individual All-Round Final. The Chinese have taken Gold for all the Gymnastics Events so far. =\

Not here too, plz. He is everywhere. From AIM chats to video games forums. Janos Baranyai is a superior topic. Who's that?

That's the weightlifter who had that terrible... accident while lifting the weight. He had it in the air and then his right arm just bended in a horrible way and that weight bar fell on his neck. It's on YouTube but I must warn you that it was awful. I feel sorry for him.

No, don't say BS. They ARE underage. VP, please be respectful of other people's opinions even if they don't agree with yours. @kohana- I saw a picture of that in the newspaper! That looked so painful, I feel so horrible for him DD: And last night for men's gymnastics... wow, so many horrible errors. It really surprised me. I'm happy for Yang Wei, though as well as the fellow who won silver, can't remember his name at the moment. Also, did anyone hear about that Swedish wrestler who won bronze? I think he needs some major anger management. =O

Didn't hear about him...
I'm not really into wrestling or boxing
I love the swimming, Michael Phelps will be the man with the most medals of everyone in the whole tournament.
China will be the overall winner by far
America will be second
But I don't get how Germany got so many medals all the sudden
I always love to watch the swordfighting (dunno what's it called in English)
And Judo is one of my favorite sports to watch (My country succeeds in getting some medals in Judo, got a bronze one today (one of the dutch men got knocked out in the semi-finals and could still compete for a bronze medal but he didn't actually lose cause the referrees didn't see he didn't fall on his back...)
I like athletics too =)

dude, I wish I had a chinese school teacher that looked HALF as good as though chinese gymnasts do. yang wei wasn't a favorite though. haha i couldn't believe how many people DIDN'T stick their landings last night. it's like after the first few people did it, everyone was like "OMG, I CAN'T DO IT EITHER". >.> and dutchy, are you talking about fencing? ?

Gacs posted the accident in the first post of the fourth page, if no one else caught that.
I felt really bad for all the gymnists yesterday. They were just having so much trouble. I really like Jonathan Horton and Alexander Atver... (something I don't remember, but his nickname is Sasha) as well. I think they're really good.

@beauty- ZOMG I agree! Yang Wei is so adorable <33 Too bad he's engaged xDDD I have to say last night shocked me with all the errors. It scared me, too especially when that Japanese guy fell off the rings. Made me want him to medal. The frenchman who got the bronze surprised me but I suppose it's just because he didn't totally implode like 99% of the other gymnasts. @west: Alexander Artemav, I think is his name. I'm so glad he got his pommel horse routine, he's been amazing on it

Yess that's his last name! He really did save US and it is him that got us the bronze! Thanks goodness for him. And I thought that he did pretty well in the individuals. They are both really good!

At least they got something, a silver. but seriously..if it had been any other team besides cheneys' that preformed just as abyssmally..then the IOC might well have chosen not to believe the chinese govt...but as it stands..cheneys' govt has comitted acts of forgery that have resulted not in a stolen gymnastics tournament..but in millions of deaths...as such..sweeping it under the rug was prolly the right thing to do in this case...
