Oh I know. I just came out of a really bloody game. We tackle just as hard as football players do & we don't wear padding.

Nope I'm not. There are many soccer players who can do that. Maximum fitness is essential. (As with all sports) Football is a grueling sport. I've tried it many times but it just isn't my thing.

NASCAR is not a joke. These cars are pieces of junk. They're fast, yeah, but that's really it. Try lugging a Volvo around at 180 MPH having to turn every ten seconds without nailing one of the cars that are often withing two feet of you. It's not "driving for a living", that's like saying soccer is "running for a living". It's a gross oversimplification. I mean, look at Earnhardt Sr., he bumped a guy and died. You do what he did on the FREEWAY, the guy might yell at you, but that's it.

I totally agree. *karmas* You guys are oversimplifying the sport of Nascar and trying to dismiss it as an actual sport when, in fact, it is. Like Captain Klepto said, Nascar is not a joke. Driving is a lot more difficult than what you guys make it out to be. Concentration is very much needed as well as control. Any second thoughts would result in crashes. Ask anyone who drives. Seriously. Ask anyone, and they will tell you that driving is not as easy as you guys are saying it is. If driving is as easy as you guys say it is, which is basically turn left and left again, then why not put a kid behind the wheels? There is a reason why the law has people at a certain age before they can even LEARN how to drive. Driving at 40 mph is difficult, imagine driving at 100+ mph while trying to avoid crashing into the wall or other cars. Chibi Chan, you say that the "jerking" feeling is fun, but you haven't experienced riding in a car at 100+ mph at such a great velocity. The centripetal force is incredibly strong and if the car isn't controlled right, it can very well flip over. I have to admit, I took driving for granted until I learned how to do it myself. Afterwards, I have a totally different outlook on driving. It's a lot harder than what your saying.

It's like trying to crawl down a tube with a 3' diameter, and the walls and ceiling are charged with 50,000 volts of electricity. Except there's a chance you'll survive with a slab of metal in your chest. Never fun.

It would be NASCAR, if I considered it a sport, but I really do not. And while I love college basketball, I absolutely hate the NBA. So I will say either the NBA or baseball depending upon my mood.
