This thread might fall... fast... because of all the other things being posted on the general board. I shall try my best to keep this thread at the top! Very nice GDT Confettie. *karmas*
Now, the one thing that would make my day is that the Sens will win and the Ducks will be devastated because they went over their payroll in order to win. Bwahaha.
Karma darnit... Karma will get back at the ducks for being cheap cheap cheap.

Blame the fact that there is no sports section. I'm hoping more people pop up, its really sad, but I'm only a regular at a very few section of this forum. So it would be nice to meet new people . I'm hoping the Sens win! All the "experts" have the Ducks winning though .

Out of all the sports that you could've posted, you posted the one sport that doesn't exist where I live. (2 feet under the sun.) >_<
I'll watch it anyways.

Sorry to hear that RandomPokes. The SCF should be great, but it would've been even better had a certain team made it.
Anyway... here is my prediction.
Sens in 7... because I want the Ducks to lose a heartbreaker therefore demoralizing their entire organization. Mwahaha.
Monday's score: Ducks 2, Sens 1. This is mainly due to the horrid ice in the Ponda Center, Sens vacation period, and the creepiness of a quiet arena.

don't feel bad, my local/favorite team got kick out in the 2nd round. Then their nemesis Chris Pronger/Ducks are in the Finals . So I'm watching for the ducks to go down. Also my favorite team the Sharks are the new Sens, so if the Sens wins I'll have hope . If the Warriors were still in the playoff, I would have so made a tread for the NBA playoffs. Edit: Good grief I just remember! The ducks start next season in England! So the longer this goes the better for every team except the Kings in the Pacific .

I think Bouwmeester is the best young d-men in the east. Phaneuf, Weber, and him are the top three in my opinion.
If it was any other team in the West I would have been cheering for them. I just can't stand Pronger and Corry the Ferry.

Stanley Cup Finals are coming so soon! I can't wait! I was hoping that Detroit would make it out of the west, but I was given ducks on a silver platter. It made me sad... for such a long time. Still am actually. I really like Colorado's future, especially with Wolski, Stastny, and Budaj. I'm not so sure about the Panthers, though, I mainly keep track of western teams. I wish the Sharks win next year. I don't want to see them get kicked out in the second round for 9 years until they are in Ottawa's position now.

Me too, I don't want to wait for Vlasic and Carle to mature to stud d-men. Carle more so because he is going to take longer. Also by the time they're ready the Sharks will probably have Greiss in net. Crossing finger that he'll be better then Kiprusoff; mature faster too.

Indeed. But anyway, back to The Sens and ducks.
Do you think Emery is going to hold his own out there? I mean, the Ducks are well known for crashing the net and that might just light fire under Emery's already hot head. Correy Perry, for example, will just continue flying at Emery. I was hoping that bumping in to Hasek all the time might shake him up, but he's still the same old Perry.
I hope the Alfredsson, Spezza, and Heatley line is still hot. (Did I get the line right? Eh?) I want them to smoke the ducks and roast them for dinner.

I'm not quite sure about Emery. I just hope he doesn't lose his temper, that whole duck teams just love to crash the net. Though I'm not concern about the Sens D. They have one of the deepest D in the league with a third paring that could match up against any top line. The key is secondary scoring, people other then the 1st line has to score. They need to realize they're going up against 2 former Norris winners and a former Conn Smythe winner.

Yup. Pronger and Nieds are going to be out there the whole time. I doubt that Randy Carlyle will go for any huge risk. He's going to play it safe and try and shut down the top line of the Sens. If he can pick, he'll probably roll out Pronger, Nieds, or Beauchimen throughout the whole game. Let's face it, they may be great players (or good in the case of Beauchimen), but they are human and will probably get tired out if the series is split.
We've seen Giguere choke already that one game against Detroit. We know that he's not perfect and is not always in top condition and can let in softies. Whether the Sens will expose that weakness is another thing.

I know Depenta(sp?) and Huskins only get 7 minutes a game. Hopefully the Sens will push it into overtime, that will really increase their chances.
