I still like all of Britney's songs. Does it matter what she does in her personal life if she is making good songs?

Not really, lol, I really don't pay attention to what the media says anyways. Who even knows what's true, and what's not?
I really still love all of her music! ^-^ "In The Zone" is my favorite cd by her.

I only really like her newer ones like "piece of me" that is a really cool song.... It seems like a song that wud fit Ozai.....
Regarding her personal life.... Well I think she is a bad role model and if I ever had kids I wud encourage them not to idolise ne one like her.... I love that Leave Britney Alone video that is funny... That guy scares me he really does and he is completely in the wrong regarding his other videos...

Blackout is awesome! Though I stopped listening to Spears for a year.

I am going to bring this thread back since Britney released her new album Circus a couple of days ago. I really love her new cd, I just can't stop listening to it. My favorite songs have to be Shattered Glass, Out From Under, Lace & Leather, If U Seek Amy, Circus, Unusual You, and Mmm Papi. This cd, imo, is much better than Blackout, I don't why, but I love every song on Circus, and I didn't on Blackout. What can I say? I think Britney is finally back! =D

I wouldn't care so much if she had any roll in the creation of her "songs". Written by someone else, her voice edited by computers, dance moves are someone else's, she doesn't perform live. She's a face, her fans are essentially worshipping a logo.

You really need to get your facts straight, Britney co-writes lots of her songs. She wrote eight of the thirteen songs on her 2003 album In The Zone. She also wrote two on last year's Blackout, and four on her new cd Circus. She does perform live, as she she has concerts, and performed live on several tv shows in the past couple of weeks. Many pop singers DO lip sync during their performances because of their rigorous dance routines, it doesn't mean they can't sing, it just means they want to have a good show. Prime example : Christina Aguilera, amazing singer, but she lip synced her entire VMA performance because of the dance routine. Back on topic : I loved Britney's performance on Star Academy : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1HNPaLCVR0&feature=related She also performed on Simon Cowell's X Factor, and he said he really liked her.

You really need to get your facts straight, Britney co-writes lots of her songs. She wrote eight of the thirteen songs on her 2003 album In The Zone. She also wrote two on last year's Blackout, and four on her new cd Circus. Circus has 12 tracks. She given co-writing credit on only a quarter (That would be three) of the songs released under her name. How does that make her talented? Notice how the songs she's co-written will never see the light of day as a single? That's because she's a brand, and her image is basically being used to pump out catchy (Which is not equivalent to good by any stretch of the imagination) songs. The point I made was that the albums released by Britney Spears are essentially two to four money-making machines of songs and then eight to ten filler/Oh-that's-very-nice-would-you-like-me-to-put-that-on-the-record? songs. I will agree that Christina Aguilera can sing, but we're not discussing Christina Aguilera. And the thing is, plenty of artists have had amazing stage shows without lip synching. And don't tell me it's because of the dancing, because that is in no way important or necessary.
