pfftt... my friends laugh at me all the time because I still listen to Disney Music - and I'm 20 now.
I gave my friend all the Disney music I had (which is like ALL of it) and we listen to it at her house all the time and play games - like the first one to name the movie wins!

Disney music is practically my life. I just bought a 4 disc collection of Disney music and it had one of my favorite songs that's really hard to get. On the Open Road, from a Goofy Movie (one of the rarest Disney soundtracks, I'm still trying to find a copy for UNDER $40).
I'll bet you anything that the person who made fun of you for listening to Disney music probably has a few favorite Disney songs of their own.

I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as an age limit for Disney music. Senior year of high school, when kids were blasting rap music making nearby people vibrate from all the bass, I was doing the same thing with "Wanna Be Like You" from The Jungle Book. The other day I was playin "Just Can't Wait to be King," and "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast.
Other equally catchy hits I enjoy include: "Never Had a Friend Like Me" and "Prince Ali" --Aladdin "Under the Sea" and "Part of Your World" --The Little Mermaid "Prince John, the Phony King of England"--Robin Hood The entire freakin Tarzan soundtrack

I like lots of the soundtracks from the older Disney movies (many of which have been mentioned here)
But anything Disney cranks out now just makes me want to lash out in violence.

I know you I walked with you once upon a dream. I know you The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem. . . from Sleeping BeautyCome feed the little birds, show them you care And you'll be glad if you do. Their young ones are hungry, Their nests are so bare; All it takes is tuppence from you. from Mary Poppins^ I'm attached to these. ;D And the songwriters were "old," Disney was "old" when he approved the songs. . . what is wrong with being in touch with a more innocent and simple time in one's life? It made me so sad to hear the Sherman brothers say that Disney used to call them into his office and ask them to play "Feed the Birds" for him. They said he would just stare out the window sorrowfully and listen. I wonder if he was thinking about his own rough childhood, or wishing he could do more for the children of the world. Maybe both. I agree that the entire Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack is excellent ~ Danny Elfman is a god. I'll make a man out of you always gives me goose bumps! ^ Me too ~ weird how that happens every time, isn't it?
