The Giver. Boring and you don't even know what happened in the end Hmm, I actually enjoyed The Giver. I just re-read it last summer, a nice quick read. ^_^

The Cat In The Hat. It's to hard to read. I don't even think half of those words even exist.

Not exactly a book but an author: Proust. I tried reading a book of his for a class that I took on traditions in writing and literally fell asleep with the book in my hands while reading it. It was that bad. I wish I could remember the name of it...

When I started the book it was cool, but then you realized that people kept on falling into the same patterns and making the same mistakes and they reminded me of the people who lived in my town who went to work at dairy queen instead of getting education and, anyway, made me kind of sad.

Grendel. Biggest waste of time EVER. Grendel is a great book. Its about an monster who eats people, questions God and the meaning of life, then eats more people, acts all emo, and then dies. I loved it.

A Tale of Two Cities....I don't know why but it just bored me. The Giver was ok but I feel the same about it as I do for A Tale of Two Cities.

Old Man and the Sea, The Scarlet Letter, and The Red Badge of Courage. All insanely boring.

The Da Vinci Code, and not for reasons youd think. The concept is good, but Dan Brown puts way too much detail of the surroundings into it; it feels like he's just showing off what he knows. And I'm Catholic, and I take the story as it is: a story. What irritates me though is that other people who've read the book treat it as a text book and think all the information is true. It is supposed to be a work of fiction, people.
I also don't like A Separate Peace and A Farewell to Arms, both by Hemingway. They were just dull and the characters were too whiney.
The Chosen didn't really do anything for me either.

The Pearl.
My god, it was so incredibly boring. The most exciting thing going on was the baby getting shot, and even that needed more action. And now I have to read Of Mice and Men, by the same author. Fun...*le sigh*

Wow, everyones hating books for not being exciting enough, regardless of how well written and thought provoking they are.
John Steinbeck is one of the greatest American authors ever.
