Next to Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse, these are my favorite books. I have read them almost as many times as Twilight etc. If you haven't read them I suggest you do.
The third one, coming in December, is called "The Sweet Far Thing".

I know! I heard about that a few weeks ago. ^_^ I haven't read "A Great and Terrible Beauty", but I have read Rebel Angels, and despite the severe Wiccan themes in it, it's very much so one of my favorite books.

Man, A Great and Terrible Beauty was awesome. Rebel Angels was interesting as well, but I liked the first one a bit better. It had a deeper social critique than the second novel. I had no idea there was a third one! Thanks for the info! I'll definitely be looking for it.

--------SPOILER - DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE SWEET FAR THING------------
Omg, I am almost done with The Sweet Far Thing, and what I read today totally shocked me, but I kind of already suspected it. Pippa & Felicity share a kiss, and we find out that they together, and that they are lesbians. My jaw literally dropped. This puts so much in these books into a new perspective.

*spoilers* I wasn't suprised they were lesbians. They were always very close friends, and there was definite foreshadowing in one of the earlier books with those women. Geez, can't think of the name right now. >.< Let me explain something really quick: Whenever anything remotely sad happens in media (books, movies, TV), I burst into tears. Usually my crying bits aren't that prolonged, maybe a minute at most... But at the end of this book, I couldn't stop crying. The ending was so sad, I literally cried for 20-30 minutes straight. It was a great read, but I can't help but feel a bit down. The sacrifice was... what's the right word... heart-wrenching? That works. Ah, I get teary just thinking about it.

This was one of the best book series ever. I could just feel Gemma being crushed under the pressure of everything and The final book....T.T.

I know! Poor Kartik! When I finished AGATB, I ran up to my best friend, shoved the book in her face, and said "read this book now!" And I am rather introverted, so that's unusual for me.

omg, Ms. McCleethy... Even though I didn't really like her all that much, she died a pretty sick death....and I'm glad Pippa died. She seriously got on my nerves since book one.
