"The Life of Pi"--Yann Martel
Got done reading it a while back but I'm considering picking it up again. But it is probably one of the most a-MAZ-ing books on this mud ball.
That and the "Shape Changers" series.

All of the Ember books are really good. I read them last year and absolutely loved them.
I forgot how religious 'Shadowmancer' is. Just a warning to any potential readers.

"The Moonstone" by Wilkie Collins. It's a book about a yellow diamond that is stolen. I have to read this for school and analyize it by Monday. Not fun.
I am also reading "Men at Arms" by Terry Pratchett, my favorite author. It's basically about cops and what happens in a fantasy world when someone invents a gun. It's hilarious!
Edit: The Moonstone is a surprisingly good book. I guess it's considered one of the first detective novels. So I take it back: It is a fun book.

It's this paperback called "The Forever King". See part of the legend of Arthur is that he's supposed to be reincarnated someday and this is a book about Arthur coming back in 1992. The plot is pretty predictable and the villain fits almost every cliche' like it's his religion, but his backstory is pretty colorful. Yep, this is definately one of those books that I am in the process of finishing for the sake of defeating it, not because I'm into it.

Right now I'm reading Eragon. I know I'm really slow to get into the series. My younger brothers already on Eldest >.< Its a really good book though, so much action and blood and awesomeness! Only about 100 pages left 'til the end!

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. I'm liking it, better than that Uplift novel or The Forever King, neither of which I was able to finish. I don't know why I'm picky with books lately.

I have just started reading Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris. I love the Hannibal books and films and thought I would read the book before the film comes out over here.
