So does anyone read any of the fantasy books by Brian Jacques? His most notable work is probably Redwall. I haven't read it yet, but I really do. I watched the animated version of Redwall every Sunday morning and it was sooo deep and serious for a kids show on PBS. Lol.

Ohhh man....the Redwall series is one of my all-time favorites. I have them all up till now. I haven't read any of his other stories though.

Meh, Redwall was great and all, but the rest of the series was kind of like a cheap copy. The characters seemed kind of flat, they were always the noble, merciful ones while the bad guys were always within the same species and I don't think I've ever seen another side of them. There has to be one good guy among them, right? And sometimes, the plot of the stories seem to be recycled constantly, like he put the same storyline in the book, but changed the character's names. But of course, there's always my favorite: Taggerung. It's probably the best one since Redwall because of the plot twists.
