Rowling is bad at character death, which is too bad.

She said that she intended for the deaths to be rushed to show that there was no time to mourn. That sounds kind of lame, but I guess it makes sense.
Anyways, today is the 10 year anniversay of Voldemort's defeat. May 2, 1998. Harry is 27 now and he has three kids (I think, Lily might not have been born yet - too much math for a Friday after school). Also, Harry Potter is just off the New York Times best seller list for the first time in a almost a decade. It really depressed me because it shows that HP really is over. Kind of werid that these two things happened so close, isn't it?

I know. Him leaving Harry was also OOC, too, especially since he's stayed with them for the past six books through everything. Movie 5 sucked, it was worse than having an inebriated, illiterate moron try to describe what happened. OMG, my mom works at a TV station and every week, they were airing an HP movie. She liked Order of the Phoenix best. 0_o But she did say she couldn't understand what was going on in that one. (she has to sit through Narnia now)

Is anyone a Sirius/Remus shipper? It's my OTP in HP.

Is anyone a Sirius/Remus shipper? It's my OTP in HP. Well, if I had to put Sirius with anyone, it would certainly be Remus ^-^. That aside, I really didn't like the 7th book... It really feels like she just sort of phoned it in for the ending, and the Epilogue was horrendous fanfiction fodder o.o. I still don't understand how she could make some of her characters do such a 360. Ron went from being my favorite character at the beginning of the series, to one of my least favorites by the end. The high-point of the series for me was and always will be book 6.

I was so shocked and angry when Ron left, but he was never my favorite. My favorite part of the series were those three chapters in the Shrieking Shack in PoA. The Marauders and Lily are my favorite characters.
There was something online about when it said S & R embraced like brothers, "Embraced like brothers my @$$." And why Remus wouldn't go with Tonks? He still loved Sirius!
When we learned Harry and Ginny's kids' names, the first thing I thought was FANFIC. I've grown to love it though.

Sirius and Remus lol that is an awesome ship a wolf and a dog what a growly grizzly relationship that wud be ;D I was disapointed Harry killed Voldemort in such a subdued way.... I'm not a Voldemort fangirl but he was an awesome villian and I wanted him to die in a more spectacular way.....

The ending definitely should have been more BAM! Harry didn't even kill Voldemort really, he kinda killed himself (again xD)
So I guess JKR is auctioning off a prequel to HP that is 800 words and takes place 3 years before Harry is born. I hope this gets out to the public unlike Beedle the Bard, because I REALLY want it. I've always wanted a Marauder Era one instead of more sequels.

I think it would have been cooler if Harry had stayed dead. of course, I blazed through the book in 7 hours straight, so maybe... just maybe... I might have missed something... ~Azula~

But if Harry died we wouldn't get to see Lily Luna or James Sirius or Albus Severus! I like it with a nice neat happy ending.

I find it funny how in every book there has to be a big argument between the 3. No matter how out of place it might seem, there must be a "well I'm not talking to you anymore!" moment.

1 - They just didn't like Hermione 2 - Can't remember anything here 3 - Crookshanks/Scabbers thing 4 - Ron's jealous 5 - Angsty Harry - but was that it? Harry's just mad at em all? 6 - Hermione/Ron/Lavender 7 - Ron leaves

well, I guess the "seperation" in #2 was when Hermione was petrified... but in reality, now that the bada** factor of #7 has died down, I think I'm back once again to liking #2 the best.
of course, I think #7 might rank 2nd for me, but I still find it annoying that Dobby, Moddy, and most of all FRED died... so yeah, all in all, I say #2 is my fave. ~Toph~
