Some of the games out there have some of the best music around. Is anyone else a fan of the soundtracks? If so, what are your favorite soundtracks? My top 3 right now are:
Kingdom Hearts 2 Skies of Arcadia Sonic 3 & Knuckles

I get video game remixes at www.ocremix.orgYou can get free downloads of remixes of tons of different video games. I like it because I'm a techno/electronic freak. I have almost all the Final Fantasy VII ones.

Final Fantasy....XII I think...I got some more...Xenosaga...and such... Final Fantasy XII was easily one of the worst Final Fantasy soundtracks. it was not composed by the usual composer, Nobuo Uematsu. Uematsu composed pieces such as "zanarkand" "Suteki De Na" "Otherworld" "One Winged Angel" and "Liberi Fatali" "Liberi Fatali" was actually used in the 2004 summer olympics by the American synchronized simming team. (they got bronze) Liberi Fatali: LINK One Winged Angel: LINKOtherworld (Remix): LINKSkies Above: LINKNobuo Uematsu is without a doubt the greatest video game composer of all time. Its a shame he couldnt do FFXII. edit: fixed the links so it wouldn't stretch the page

I always liked the final battle theme from "Earthbound"
The first 20 seconds was done like typical video game music of the time. Standard SNES RPG battle music. But then all of a sudden it breaks out into awesome heavy metal, pushing the SNES to its limits.

Old School:
Quake 1 had a really cool soundtrack.
Although, I really don't listen to that type of music anymore.
