I bought the first game last week, and I think I want to play the rest of the series.
Is there anything in the series to talk about?

DMC 5 is coming out for 360, so I might get it.

Isn't it 4? I read that DMC 2 was a joke. But I guess I'll bear with it, a bit. That is, when I actually get the game.

Got it confused with RE5. Yeah, it's 4.

I bought the first game last week, and I think I want to play the rest of the series. Is there anything in the series to talk about? Stylish over the top action, guns and lots of demon killin'. What's not to love? If you want a better scope of the storyline chronologically, you should start playing in this order, Devil May Cry 3, 1 and then 2 with 3 serving as the prequel. In fact each of the instalments have prequel novels and manga to them too. Not quite sure where DMC4 stands in the storyline chronology though. Part 2 is generally considered weaker than 1. They took out Dante's cocky attitude, made him talk less and generally lowered the game's difficulty. DMC games are HARD by default but 2 was cakewalk.

I thought that DMC 1 was good. But I'm still trying to beat the game in Dante Must Die! mode. Right now, I'm at Legendary Battle.

I love this game!! Especially the fourth one =D I really like the graphics and Dante is just awesome I love it when he says, "Shall We Dance??" The first time I pressed that button and watched him bow. Then, say that phrase, I just couldn't stop smiling. In a way, Dante reminds me of Sly Cooper. xD

These games are awesome, and torcherously difficult Oh my god, I ordered all three games and I got 3 first, good thing. Although the odds are I'll never beat 3, that game is painfully hard. Dante is awesome, he reminds me of death the kid ( i111.photobucket.com/albums/n123/lostty_2006/vlcsnap-178849.png ) in the way he uses his guns.....if DTK held his guns right (he holds them upside down, he shoots with his pinkies). I love the beginning of DMC3 when he shoots a cueball in the air that hits some poolballs that hit some enemies. DMC4 sucked, it was legendarily short, Nero sucked, his girlfriend was a cardboard cutout, you re do all the levels at the end. It was way too easy on the two difficulties they gave you (and if you need to play the game 4 times to get the kind of challenge you want it's not worth it). I'm playing the third one now, and at the THIRD LEVEL ON EASY I am being put to the limits of my skill by the boss (I barely beat him), and now I'm at level 4 and the game is obliterating me. I'm trying to build up my guy by doing easy so when I go back to normal I'll have a slight advantage and I'll still probably have major problems by level 5. WIth DMC4, if I beat the easiest difficulty, and go up to demon slayer on the same file and I'll be able to dominate through the whole game. I think I deleted a file that had the difficulty after demon slayer and I remember that being easy to.
