Well, at least we now know HOW he became a chavalier. But, yes, he was absolutely KAWAII as a kid! He really loves her.

Well.... *spoiler alert* He's not dead yet, but Diva does drink a great deal of his blood and Saya is forced to make him her Chevalier to save him, like she did with Haji. DIVA. <33333333 It was about time she showed up. And looking all creepy and hellishly awesome. I heard her English voice on some of the promos for this Saturday's episode, sounds pretty good to me, but I'll have to hear her in the whole episode before I judge.

I can't help but lol at Ghee and Kid!Haji's voices...but I totally called Ghee being done by Riku's VA. And Kid!Haji...robot. XD
Anyway...um...I hope they don't make Diva have that half-singing, half-talking voice I keep worrying about. xD

If it's a dub... Odds are they will.
Though the dub of Blood+ has been pretty good thus far.

Actually, I heard Diva's dub voice briefly on the Adult Swim promo ("You're in my way!"), and she sounds pretty decent. She throws Saya through a wall.

The spoiler will probably happen in the next episode anyway, judging by Riku's condition...

No matter how much I hate what she's done to Riku, I just can't hate Diva. She's just freaking awesome. I've been waiting since March to see her. The last shot of her smiling made my weekend. =3
I'm going to rip myself apart waiting for this week's episode. I want to hear her English voice sooo bad.

I'm often behind on catching stuff on my DVR, so I just got around to watching Saturday's ep this morning. Finally got to make a couple caps of Diva for my gallery. Of course I'm still catching up on screencapping from the weeknight reruns, got to Monday's ep today, though some of it was stuff I already had in my gallery, I did make some new stuff. Still gotta get thru Tuesday and Wednesdays eps, gah. Never enough time. Anyway, it was cool to finally see Diva, and I look forward to seeing more of her. And I hope Saya comes to her senses and realizes just because they're related doesn't mean they're the same.

Believe me, Saya comes to her senses real fast as far as Diva's concerned. Really, really fast. But in the end you can't help feeling a little sorry for Diva, considering she wasn't raised with a family to love her the way Saya was.

Man, Episode 24 of Blood + was insane. Riku almost killed by Diva and then Saya and her fight with Diva/Solomon. Haji saved her like he usually does and then Riku is turned into a Chevalier at the end by Saya. That has to be one of the most intense episodes.
It may just be me but Diva laughs way too much and I now understand why she was locked away for so long before Saya freed her in the past. Besides being totally evil, crazy can pretty much sum up Diva.

Actually, Diva was locked away in that tower almost immediately after she was born, and spent the first few decades of her life as a guinea pig for Joel's experiments. She went crazy as a result of that. To be completely honest, I was a little disappointed with this episode. They changed a lot of important dialogue from the original, though some of the minor lines were alright. As for Diva's voice...well, I wouldn't saw it's awful, but it'll certainly take some getting used to, at least for me. And also, during the middle, I found myself wishing I had a nickel for every time Kai yelled Riku's name dramatically. =P

Well, well, well...
Diva's voice made me cringe a bit at first, but after awhile I got pretty used to her. Makes sense that she'd sound childish, considering she spent most of her life locked up in that little tower. I doubt that was good for her maturity or her sanity.
Saya finally steps up in this episode, having remembered everything about her past, and good God was it a long time coming. As much as I love her character there was only so much I could take of goody two-shoes Saya and it's nice to see some of her older qualities returning.
Poor Riku. Was I the only one tearing up when Saya gave him her blood and then went to stand in the corner when he started going nuts? The poor girl, both of them shouldn't have to go through that.
Diva's voice sounds so familiar to me for some reason. I feel like I've heard her before, but I can't put my finger on where. Darn.
Overall, nice episode. Very satisfying.

Diva's being played by Kari Wahlgren, who's voicing Saya. In my opinion, this just shows how amazingly talented she is, playing both the heroine and the villainess in the same series. I'm a fan of quite a few series that Kari has done.
And yes, optimistic Saya can only keep one satisfied for so long.
