*Spoiler Alert* (To those few who read the manga and care)
Because there's this scientist named Dr. Hogback who's a play off of Frankenstein. He builds zombies out of spare body parts and steals people's souls (shadows) to power the corpses. He uses humans and animals. Trust me, it gets absolutely nutty.

Well I'm on 312 and all I have to say is Funi made a good move. OP will be the next DBZ and will rake in hundreds of millions for Funi. It wont surpass the Naruto hype like in here like in Japan but it will definetly make its mark. Well I guess this means they can license the DBZ/OP crossover Imax film now.^^

Oh man, I hope so! Though I seriously doubt it. They'd have to round up and bring back all of the DBZ voices which would be a huge hassle and cost them more money than they'd might make. If they ever license/dub the DBZ/OP crossover short, then it'd probably only get shown at a few major anime-cons once or twice. They could however put it as an extra feature on a DVD...
I was actually kind of surprised to find out OP surpassed Naruto in Japan. I honestly believe the same could have happened here had 4Kids not murdered it. \_/

Well a lot of them still work on other stuff and they do get them together once a year to dub the videogames. As far as how they are going to show the film? Like you said I guess they are going to have to resplice it into a regular TV version so they can put them on the DVDs.

I liked the dub that was on yesterday. It was a hundred times better then the 4kids version. I haven't seen much of the Japanese version but the fans seem to be happy with FUNimation even though its only one episode.

I liked it! It was diffeerent, but some of the VA's were trying to sound like the 4kids version (only better). It was awesome to hear Sanji without the Brooklyn accent. Though, they still say Zolo, instead of Zoro.

Bwahahahahaha, Told you! Isent it awesome?! They may actually save One Piece, if 4Kids did not give it such a horrable reputation that it cant recover from it. Im a little proud to say I watch it now! I was hopeing that they would start from the beggining, but oh well. The best part is they changed the theme song!!!! I ACTUALLY LIKE THE OPENING AND ENDING NOW!!!

lol, Gomen, Katie! I like the opening and ending songs, too, but I wish that they didn't translate it. Oh well.
I read that they are keeping Zolo for the Toonami, but for the DVD"s they'll use Zoro. Also, they are going to release the DVD's starting from eppie one (by Funimation), umm, soon.XD Funimation now makes this show funny and watchable!!! Before, it was so corny and stupid.

Well, I always liked the show, but I have a feeling I'll like it better now. I liked the 4kids theme song, but I like the new opening and closing themes better. And Sanji was the only new voice that sounded dramatically different to me, but I do get the sense that even if the other voices are similar to the old ones, they're a bit toned down, which is nice. I look forward to getting used to the new VAs, and getting into a new story arc. Also I noticed Chopper's voice was the same in his big form as it was in his small form. That seemed weird. Do they do that in the Japanese version?

I liked the 4kids theme song *twitch* I guess thats your opinion..... Yeah, untranslated would have been good, but the English translated versions are easier to understand XD But yeah, the Japanese version would have been good. Im just glad I can stand it. Im glad they sound normal now too XD Yay normal! Yeah, I noticed that too, but I guess his vocal cords dont change, just his outer appearance.

Oh lawd, I just saw the funi dub last night. I have such mixed feelings I think I might explode. It's like watching the dubbed DBZ...except with different characters.
First off, Chris Sabat is doing Zoro. I'll admit, I liked the original Zoro dub a bit better. When I hear his voice I practically imagine Piccolo in the sound studio with headphones on doing his voice. >_< And the exact same thing for Krillin and Ussop. Luffy's okay, though not too different from the first dub. I do like what they did with Sanji's voice. Robin doesn't sound like Kyra Sedgewick from "The Closer," hallelujah. The best part of it all is that the storyline makes MUCH more sense now that they've cut out the ridiculous amount of lame jokes and puns.
Yeah, his voice stays high pitched in his other forms too.
*Spoiler Alert*
Except for his ultimate form

Yeah, the lame jokes always made me cringe and roll my eyes. Funi's is better cuz it's funny in a good way. YEah, I liked Zolo's original dub voice, but Chris does a decent job. Is it just me, or is Chopper's voice annoying? IT's just too squeeky!! Sounds like he should be a squirrel, instead of a mini reindeer.

It's because the VA who plays Chopper also does Chao Tzu omigoshyetanotherDBZdubvoiceinthenewonepiecedub...I swear, Funi needs some new talent...
