Howl's Moving Castle is my favorite, but I also love Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Nausicaa (which I can never spell right) and Castle In The Sky.

I've only seen Spirited Away and most of Castle in the Sky, so I guess I should just go with Spirited Away. Speaking of those two movies, the leader of the pirates in Castle in the Sky looked a lot like Yubaba, except for the hair and lack of oversized head.

I love finding similaritiesin his films :3

I've seen Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Totoro. I loved them all. I really want to see Howl's Moving Castle.

I've only seen Spirited Away and Totoro, but going off of what I've seen, I prefer Spirited Away. It's so amazing! Does anyone have any suggestions on which one to watch next?

Princess Mononoke had top notch animation and a really good story. I loved the dialogue, and the voice casting was cool (Gillian Anderson from X-Files and Keith David (Goliath from Gargoyles) made a very good cast). Never seen Totoro though, and i don't think i want to after seeing this AMV at an Animecon (it had that freaking cat singing "I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL!"). Seriously i think i was traumatized.

Spirited Away, fo' sho'. It's gorgeous and amazingly deep and complex...and you can't deny the cuteness that is Haku/Chihiro. <3
HMC....is tough. It's a good movie, yeah, but the book is so much better that I always end up comparing them. >.<;;; Oh, how I missed drunk!Howl in the movie...And Prince Justin, who needs more credit. He doesn't even get named properly in the movie, even though he's sooooo cute. And there is no mention of Sophie's unusual skill with clothes. ...Ah well. At least we get to see Howl 'expressing his feelings' with green slime. ^___^

By 'that freaking cat' do you mean the cat-bus? I love the cat-bus! It's so plushy! I've seen Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Spirited Away. I own them all! Hmm... My favorites would have to be Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausicaa fo the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke. Howl is so hot... *mind wanders* Anyway... the first Miyazaki film I ever saw was Kiki's Delivery Service. My sisters and I saw a commercial for it on a VHS we rented. It said 'Coming Soon', but it was a year and a half before we could find it anywhere!!! We rented it so many times that my mom finally just bought it for us and I watched it until I saw scenes from it every time I closed my eyes. Yeah, I can be very obsessive... Princess Mononoke... brilliant. The animation... *searches for words and doesn't find any* When I first saw Spirited Away it really disturbed me. I couldn't bring myself to watch it again for four years. Thaaaat's right. Four years. But now I really love it.

I voted for Howl's Moving Castle because I read the book and liked the movie too. The book was better though. Overall, I have found Miyazaki's movies to be a little confusing. I also don’t feel they have very satisfying endings. When I was watching Mononoke I thought there was going to be 30 more minutes than there actually was. But I do love the animation.

My favorite would have to be Howl's Moving Castle but I didn't understand the whole movie til the end. Yes, that means I sat in a dark theater room for like two hours not understanding anything til the last...10minutes or so. People are always saying how great Spirited Away is but I don't like it. True, the animation is good but what about the story? Bad-- to me atleast.

I voted for Princess Mononoke. Afterall, what's not to like about giant wolf gods ripping people to shreds?
