My friends forced me to watch it on Saturday at the movies since they really wanted to see it. But it was like the greatest movie ever I have seen for now. It's about a girl that gets pregnant at 16 and decides to give up the baby for adoption to a couple. It's mostly comedy, but I shed one or two tears in one of the parts. Soo, who has seen it? What do you guys think about?

Juno, a movie for Jamie Lynn Spears. Funny how a movie about pregnancy came out and then someone who is 16 gets pregnant.

The soundtrack is amazing. The cast is amazing. The movie is amazing.
Go see it.
Jason Reitman (who made Thank You For Smoking) is just an amazing director.

This was THE MOST amazing movie I have EVER seen! I loved EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. THe story was amazing. It was love, but it was hard love. It was wonderfully touching in soo many ways. The story was humorous without being offensive and just enough lovey dovey to satisfy everyone. =D
Plus the soundtrack was amazing. ^.^

Ditto. Pretty much everything was amazing. I like to think it was a mix of Napoleon Dynamite and Knocked Up.

^I agree. I'm too cheap to spend ten dollars for a movie ticket, so I'll rent it when it comes out on DVD. It does sound really good, though.

Most overrated movie of 2007.
It's an indie comedy for people who have never seen an actual indie comedy. The average American is so easily satisfied, just stamp the "fox searchlight" logo on something and all of a sudden the consumer feels smart and sophisticated. Juno wasn't an intelligent comedy, it just appealed to the average moviegoer, the kind who doesnt even know what "quirky" is. The screenplay wasn't amazing, it was like something for a sit-com. It's as if Diablo Cody just sat down one day and actively decided "IM GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING QUIRKY AND HIP!" The forced "hipness" was almost sickening at times.
Ha. Got that out. It wasn't that bad. Just tired of people raving about it because they never saw "Harold and Maude" and don't know who Wes Anderson is.
