There are some pretty good trilogies listed up there, but I'm gonna have to go with Indiana Jones. He was my childhood hero and I still love all three of the movies, even though the Temple of Doom isn't as up to par with the other Docta' Jones movies *so looking forward to the fourth one >_<*

OMGz yes! Plus, Orlando Bloom makes a hot elf. But besides that (and how awesome Gandalf is) the plot is amazing and J.R.R Tolkien is a genius. I love the battle scenes :3 The plot isnt amazing. But everything else is. It isn't original anymore, but at the time it was. So it's amazing =P

All three were good, but Temple of Doom wasn't as great as the other two, though. The plot isnt amazing. But everything else is. It isn't original anymore, but at the time it was. So it's amazing =P That's true. Plus it isn't easy to be original anymore nowadays. Weird that I discussed this this morning, though xD Just look at all those horrorflicks, they all have the same set-up: bunch of twenty-year olds get stranded in the middle of nowhere, there are peope/monsters there waiting to kill them (IMO hilarious ways mostly), then the main girl survives. It's always dark or foggy and always with high-pitched screams. Then the romance movies. Girl and boy fall in love, can't be together, but find a way anyways. Or in other cases there's a third person thrown in there so that one has to choose between the two. Detective stories: murder, some detective (who's in most of the cases very grumpy and closed) investigates, finds out who is the killer, has to go to trouble to catch the killer. And killer gets killed himself in some other way. Happy end. I can go on and on about this. But basically every sort of genre has its set-up. (There are some that are different, of course, but basically that's what those movies are about.) That doesn't mean I don't enjoy those movies. Quite the contrary in fact, because I'm a big movie fan/freak.

Well there are other ways for a movie to be excellent other than the plot.

Well there are other ways for a movie to be excellent other than the plot. I know. I also discussed this this morning. xD You have the way you tell the movie, how you use the camera, if it's poetic like Mallice by filming beautiful landscapes, the dialogue is also important, if the background music fits the scene, etc etc.

I think go with Jurassic park but the third movie is Equus asinus, it dosen't even feel like Jurassic Park. Its just lord of the Flies with Dinosaurs, I don't even think InGen is mentioned once(Excluding that one building in which the group is chased by a raptor). Even Allen dosen't save it, I want Hammond, he took back InGen after Ludlow died, he's getting old he should have %@$^ed up again. T-rex has always been the main badass, it sucks that she was replaced by a spinosaurus. I know the first two where based on book but still, they could have put some effort into the the plot of the 3rd.

I’m a fan of the LOTR trilogy but not as much as I ma of the Matrix films, no matter what the critics said about the second and third film they will always be amazing classic that I could watch over and over again!!!

Right . . . I wanted to vote Original Star Wars (because yes, that trilogy pwns hard) but since I don't have that option, I voted Indiana Jones. I like movies that actually have stories, as opposed to 'ooh cute guy, ooh SFX, ooh fight scene - lather, rinse, repeat' (which is why I despise the 'new' Star Wars Farcical Trilogy, and kinda the Matrix - I liked the first, thought it should have stopped there)
I dunno, I'm beginning to think that the movie industry is severely dumbing down a lot of their movies, which is not just annoying, but an insult to the viewership. After seeing the Spidey trilogy, I couldn't help but pick apart everyone (except Harry Osborne - he was very accurate, and amazing) and find them lacking. Mary Jane was NOT a pushover, etc. I should stop before I go into a rant.

XD Yep, totally not the Peter Parker that was originally created
