I think it'll be easy for the gay actor, at least. I bet they're going to hire a gay Grendelwald now. XD

Is he in this movie too?! I thought that he would only be in the last one. I sort of forgot if he was in this book.
I am actually quite curious what he would look like. While I read the book, I sort of pictured him sort of like Lupin/Sirius. He will probably look completely different though.

I think Grindewald had blond curly hair, but I might be remembering wrong. I know I read somewhere that Yates said something about adding something about Dumbledore and being gay. It's dumb though and completely irrelevent. And West, Lupin and Sirius don't look anything alike, so I don't know what you're picturing.

I picture James to be close to a mix of Sirius and Remus in personality and appearance. Like Remus was the blondest out of the three, tall and skinny, organzied, studious, and shy. Sirius was MANLY MAN with dark wild hair a muscley build, a womanizer in his younger years, outgoing and disregards the rules. So James was tall skinny, kind of nerdy looking, but in an 'hot' way, and had the crazy fun side and the serious, shyer side (which Lily brought out in him). Peter was a loser and no one cares. The Marauders are my favorites. I hate how the movies did them no justice. I don't think any of their actors look like I pictured them. Sirius is the closest, but still a miss. *fangirl spaz moment for marauders*

Back to the movie though . . .
I think I heard that this movie was really going to follow the book, unlike some of the other movies. Has anyone else heard this too, or was I misinformed?

They probably said that about DH around the time of the split since in 2 movies they better stick to the books. HBP isn't though. I'll try to remember what I can, but there's probably more here.
Differences from book to movie that we know of: -Moaning Myrtle will not appear at all (ie Sectumsempra scene) -Fleur will not appear at all, and probably no Bill (Phlegm, Hospital Wing with Bill) -Tonks and Lupin are already a couple by Christmas -Scene at Burrow on Christmad added where DEATH EATERS like Bella attack -A scene with young Lucius Malfoy eating dinner with Slughorn added (most likely the Horcrux memory scene, but still, Malfoy wasn't there) -Regulus Black will be appearing (I don't remember him in the book) -Dobby probably won't be in it (I'll be surprised if he is)
And Yates wants to focus on the Lavender/Ron/Hermione triangle so it's just going to be a whole lot of snogging.
DH should be better. I just want this movie not to have those freaking newspaper montages like OOtP.

Well if you keep that mindset, of coarse the movie will be ruined for you. Personally when I go to see a book-movie, I block out the book and pretend the movie was something completely original. So, forget the book ever existed, and then judge the movie like you would one that wasn't based off a book.

MOANING MYRTLE ISN'T IN IT?!?!?!?
I don't care how fantastic the writing, acting, or directing is. I will not stand for such blasphemy.
