They always say: "The movies never as good as the book"
And when your dealing with cr@p source material...

We need to be VERY prepared for the next two movies. I hope, that these two movies will be 99,999,999 times better than the first.

Yeah...maaaaaaaby if they had a bigger budget it would be good, but they at least need to stick to the book...a little...

Yeah...maaaaaaaby if they had a bigger budget it would be good Yah, then they could afford a director and a screenwriter, rather than having some homeless man they found in the cardboard box near the set do it for them. but they at least need to stick to the book...a little...[/quote] Wait, I'm confused, wouldnt that make it worse?

I thought its was pretty cool, but it kinda destroyed the storyline. Alot. They skipped half the book. And when Saphira almost died me and my mom cried! It's just so sad!!!

But the thing is, he was not able to heal Brom, a little old man from a stab in the shoulder, but WAS able to heal a giant dragon from a HUUUUUUUUGE gash in the NECK!!!! HE DID NOT EVEN HAVE MORE TRAINING AFTER THAT!!!!

HE DID NOT EVEN HAVE MORE TRAINING AFTER THAT!!!! Hmmmmmmm.... YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!! Saphira is much bigger than brom and younger(no offense Brom ) And it was just a little ol' stab! He should have been able to heal it. Or he just wasn't thinking. Again. Eragon:Hey! Me:Sorry! Like i said you have made a point thank you!

considering I've read the books and they're only okay... the movie was terrible
normally, i don't compare movies to books because they're never as good
but just watching it as a movie - it was terrible
there shouldn't be such a long list of the differences between the movie and the book
but that's my own opinion

I liked it.... A little bit. I loved the dragon Saphaira, she was so cute when she was a baby. I agree with that.

I was so dissapointed with the movie, it sorta makes me wonder if they just made the movie because they new the success of the book would fuel profit. Even though it was awhile since I've read the book I could tell so much was missing and switched around, and that's just sad

I was slightly disappointed at this movie. It barely followed the book! Roran goes off to war...WTF? 0_o What, no romance allowed? Honestly!
