I wasn't much of a fan of TT. The popularity of their version of Tim Drake is what I hold to be the destruction of one of the best comic book hero's ever. The DC comic version of Tim Drake was that while he wasn't as impressive at hand to hand he was detective on par with Batman. He never lost his cool and was a tactical mastermind. After the infiniti crisis, he's now a year older doesn't wear the red, green and yellow suit any more just red and black (with some yellow high lights). He's so angst prone and doesn't think about anything in terms of planning a head. He's overly head strong (like the TT robin). I'll be watching Avatar during that time slot

oh that's not nice . Heroes are human after all By the way, though, the titan Robin is thingy Grayson. Actually the cartoon TT Robin personality wise is more of a mixture of Jason Todd who got himself killed for being reckless and head strong (the 2nd robin) and Tim Drake the 3rd Robin The comic Tim Drake was very human, his father was in a coma and his mother died during a trip. Instead of going angst, i'm a loser bad boy he figured out who batman really was and wanted to become robin because he noticed that batman was being increasingly violent with robin, this was after Jason Todd was killed. Batman made him train mind and body for 2 years before even letting him go on his first practice patrol. In the comics twig Grayson was the orginal Robin that founded that titians and had a relationship with starfire, while Tim was part of Young Justice before growing up and reestablishing the Teen Titans.

I don't know much of anything about Teen Titans beyond this show, or alot of comics stuff, though I'd like to. But one thing I do know is that "Thingy" (profanity filters are so silly sometimes) Grayson grows up to become Nightwing, and the Robin from this show will eventually become Nightwing (per Starfire's trip to the future), so since that episode I've always assumed this Robin must be Grayson.

It really all depends if all the DC tv series tie together. The Tim drake from TT is tied to the batman animated series through batman who first spoke about the TT in a Static Shock episode. If you considered them tied then twig Grayson is actually already Nightwing while Tim is Robin.
I'm a bit of a comic nut so tend to go off the deep end a lot on most of these discussions >.<

Well, another thing I think we can be fairly sure of is that there's no Jason Todd in the DCAU. And I'm also pretty sure TT doesn't tie into the DCAU, either.

So, is it okay for spoilers at this point?
I can't believe it took so long for Robin to learn why Star kissed him when they first met. And um... gah, I don't remember what else I wanted to say, and I just watched it. I should totally take notes. Oh yeah, that detective reminded me of Zenigata from Lupin III. And that robot that attacked Cyborg reminded me of the one from Incredibles, and I even thought the music in his first fight against it sounded like Incredibles music. And... I really don't know what else I wanted to say, but I'll have to buy the DVD. And now I must shut up and watch Naruto...
