here's one from ana:
"I actually asked a discussion question in the last room but it was never answered. So, I’ll ask again if that’s alright: not to be biased but Zutara always seemed one-sided to me. Katara can give him support and comfort, show him compassion and kindness and love, but what can Zuko give to her? Can you all explain it to me because I've always been curious as to what exactly Zuko can give to Katara for the relationship to be balanced. "
here's one from me^_^:
"ok so me and my friend were talking. we thought that katara could help the fire nation after then war considering she's a good motivater(sp?). so anyway considering that the FN will probably be the world's punching bag after the war, do you think they would need katara or someone like her?"
and here's another one i tried asking:
"how do you think the characters will grow in the next season and do you think any of them will be able to grow enough to be in a relationship? and how would you develop the characters if you had the chance? "
we also discussed whether we wanted an open ending for pairings or a set pairing..
welcome back power^_^. how was church?

From a guy's perspective, Zuko is capable of giving her protection, as well as comfort and kindness. We've seen during his stages of evolution that he's capable of doing that to people who have been affected by the war.
Katara is a good motivator & I don't think there is anyone else out there that can exceed her standards. She gave the EK villagers hope in Episode 6, even when people failed to listen to her words, she didn't give up on them. In order to bring balance back in the World, not only Aang will have to bring balance but other people too. People in the Avatarverse need to stop relying on one person to grant miracles & they need to start making some adjustments for a change. Aang is just one person, who was gifted with the role of the Avatar. If people rely on him too much, he has to try and do all their needs. If he does little, they'll stop relying on him. So, if anyone should be a motivator or Fire Lady, it should be Katara.
The characters will ofcourse be a lot more stronger and clever than before. As for the relationships, they're already capable. Sokka is involved with Suki and Zuko has already been involved in a relationship but has yet to uncover more about himself. As for Aang, although he is human, he has a completly different side to him that he needs to deal with first, and that's his Avatar self. Although he's mature enough to be in a relationship with someone he can't, atleast not right now. Perhaps in a later life he can. Katara is most definetly mature enough to be in a relationship, but she's insecure about how she feels with guys, since her previous relationship with Jet. Although she has forgiven him, there's still Zuko for a factor.

"how do you think the characters will grow in the next season and do you think any of them will be able to grow enough to be in a relationship? and how would you develop the characters if you had the chance? " One of the reasons why I love ALTA is character growth, so when I look at ships, I find myself attaching to the ones that promote that, like Sukka and Zutara. I think that despite what eventually took place in the Catacombs, the really personal stuff that got exposed between the two of them is going to leave a definite impression when Book 3 picks up in two months. It's hard to ignore the bizarre coincidence of mothers. Ya know, they lost their mothers in the same year, it's so bizarre. I wonder if Mike and Bryan really have it in for us. I'm hoping that by the end of Book 3, at least, other relationships will pick up besides the Sukka (if Suki is still alive; it'll be interesting but friggin' sad if Suki did die). I mean, it's pretty conventional for the main female lead to hook up with someone, but really she'll just get in Aang's way if Kataang takes place. It's gonna be dangerous if Aang gets too close with anyone, because if the enemy finds out (as in Azula) it can use that weakness against Aang and royally screw him over. Erm......about Zuko.....I think he'll at least learn not to screw over the people who trust/care for him. I mean, every person who got close to him kinda got busted over, like Iroh (total betrayal), Song (pushed her away about the scar), Li (he's from the nation that sent Li's brother off to war), Jin ( he stood her up, ouch), and Katara (he said he changed. Right.) Not sure if I want to continue with my thoughts so here. ~Shirozora

ok power^_^
wow drifter and shirozora, those were really good. and you both made a lot of sense^_^. and drifter i agree with what you said about katara in your answer to the second question
ok so i guess i'll answer now^_^.
i think zuko has grown into a character that unlike his father will fight with (as in alongside) his people in a battle rather than sit on his throne ordering them around. i personally think that makes him a great leader.
i've already said that i think katara is turning into a great leader/motivater and the world will definitely need her.
aang is probably going to be a very wise person when he grows up. considering he's had lessons from monk gyatso, guru pathik, iroh, jeong jeong...did i miss one?
sokka will probably be like his dad, who is also a great leader from what i can tell.
and toph....is toph. she's cool no matter what ;D .

That means a bunch but you don’t have to like Kataang. Some ships click with people and not with others.
Hm, that’s interesting. Though, in this case, I think the Fire Nation could benefit most from Aang. Being the Avatar people are going to have him in regard than Katara and it is job to be the world’s peacemaker (to quote Sokka “You're the Avatar. Who knows better than you?”).
