my my my there is interesting discussion going on the rooms, I like. I feel like making some trouble...lol
If resolve are going to be made after the war is over, the people will have to assist Aang in doing, not just him alone, sometimes its the very nations warring amongst themselves and other that are really the source for peace.

Makes sense to me! But then here comes the tricky part, if they both knew they liked each other, and they finished the battle with Ozai/Zuko takes the throne, then what? Will their relationship still be able to blossom? Would they even have a chance at romance? Even if Aang defeats the Fire Lord, he still has duties as the Avatar. As for Katara, I know she'll never leave his side but there's going to be times when he won't be able to always be there for her, especially with treaties and peace conferences between the nations. Of course, she could always go with him but still. There's always that "what if?". That’s a good point. They’re both going to always be needed somewhere and those “needs” would come first. As the saying goes, "A bird may love a fish, but where would they build a home?" The gang sure will be busy after the war. It's said that hardest part of War is the aftermath- there's just so many wounds to mend and treaties to be made! @.@ If there is going to be a book four that's what I want to be about. Like you said, dealing with the after math of a war is hard stuff but..it would interesting to watch.

Aang and Katara's love for each other could be a role modelIMO for others to grasp and utilize. Both of them have been through darkest times and would have certainly been torn apart if it wasnt for love. The nations are torn apart by war and strife, the world lacks love. IMO this is what would begin the healing process of the aftermath of the war, Aang doesnt have to be all over the place, if you ever noticed when you throw a rock in a lake it starts out small, but it begins to spread and expand and affects whatever it come into contact with.

That was very beautiful and poetic Power! I agree, IMO their love could be the best example for the nations. Just like Oma and Shu huh? Torn apart by war, but they found a way to love each other. It took the ultimate sacrifice to unite both their villages to create one...foreshadowing anyone?

Thanks guys, lets look at this. Of course the gaang will be busy after the war, but it will the people who are war torn to look inside themselves and find the inner strength that will encourage and help the healing process to proliferate. Love still abounds, but it has been replaced by years of warring and hatred. Aang returned to spread that love, look back in the Serpent's Pass when Aang gave up hope, and yet the family showed that even though war still raged on, there was triumph hidden in love.

Katara used her healing water out of love to heal Aang too! I'm just saying that cuz I'm feeling fuzzy right now... Some buddy hug me! Jus kiddin ^^ Just like Oma she displayed a great display of her bending power (Aka: The Kataang Tidal Wave of Love) to try and get Aang before he fell to the ground. The way she held him and the way she looks at both Azula and Zuko makes you think she felt so hopeless. Aang represents hope, and watching her hope fall like that probably got her so upset. *Hugs!* power: I agree. Love conquers all!

I felt her pain, this this was the third time he had been taken from her by Fire Nation hands, and this time he was nearly gone for good, she was totally helpless, she thought it was over, he wasnt going to return, when she used the water to him, and feared it didnt work * it merely disappeared* you can hear her sobs of pain, the heart of a 14 year old torn out, watching her 12 year old , friend, guide, hope, and possible love, get the life ripped out of him with lightning.

@brick: Hey there! power: I know! Even now, just thinking about what Aang and Katara (along with the rest of the Gaang) go through, it's just heartwrenching and it kills me. A lot of people have said this, and I wouldn't doubt if Katara starts to be more protective towards Aang. She almost lost him, and if she had healed Zuko's scar...who knows what would have happened to Aang? She's going to be tearing herself from the inside over that one.

She probably mentally kicked hersel,f then patted herself on the back for the fact the water was saved. I'm going to point this out just to get it over with..."XXX"...*runs and hides*
