@bumianxiousairbendinglove: ;D Yes you're canonly right but fanonly wrong ;D, because there are Zutarians, like me, out here who believe evidence has been shown already that Zuko may think a little more about the waterbender than he gives off. Like here: That's the scene where Jun, tells him "what your girlfriend run off on you?" And Zuko defends himself by saying: "It not the girl I'm after. It's the bald monk who she's traveling with" YET at the same time brings the neckalace back up to his chest in a defensive manner!! (evidence!)Koshou+ Kuniki: Yup The underdogs are always the victors in the end and there the ones people naturally tend to vote for! YAY! we have hope ;D Hahaha new foreshadowing theories amazing just when I thought we'd run out of foreshadowing evidence to patch up the Zutara ship. We've been attacked with so many scenes of canon fluff I was afraid people would start jumping ship by the masses, it's nice to know they're still so many holding on. WOOT FOR THE UNDERDOGS!!

I kind of meant that him falling in love that's 'I love you' or 'I want to be with you until..*so on and so on*' would be out of character. I think liking strongly would be more in character at this point, but love feels a bit farther. *Yet liking strongly usually goes quick to love- oh yeah! XD*

I think he was just doing it out of shock. I mean, he hardly knows Katara, and if someone suggested that you like someone you don't know who's on the side of your enemy, would you just shake your head? I'd be pretty taken aback.

@ mashnipfaeri: Your inference is respected...but we however are opening up our brains to the possibilities;)
You don't have to know someone in order to like them, and by episode 15, him and Katara aren't strangers. Infact, Katara was the 1st person to mention his name from the Aang gang, It shows that although he prob. didn't know of her existence she knew exactly who he was before he introduced himself. She knew he was named Zuko. They weren't strangers but at the time they were considered enemies, but even the greatest enemies can become the greatest lovers...hate can turn to love you know.
But since Zuko's slowly shifting from Antagonist to indirect ally, he'd prob. won't be considered an enemy to Katara and Sokka, especially since he's not from the firenation anymore, who impacted a major sense of enemies between these two characters.

I really don't consider the picture opening brain up to possibilites. <-- that quote is really open ended and it really depends on the ideals of the person who's talking. I obviously know that fairysgift4u is a Zutarian, therefore, all the things that are probably seen in the episode would make a Zutarian think its Zutara while a Kataang sees it as something different. Technically, Zutarians wouldn't be opening up their brains to the possibilites because all they think is Zutara. (this is from what I've observed and I hope I don't offend someone for generalizing ) The "You don't have to know someone to like them" line makes me think... Soko! XD Anyway, maybe Katara knew his name because he's been chasing after Aang the whole time. He doesn't care for her or Sokka unless they get in the way. I mean, I'm sure you would know your friend's stalker's name but he/she wouldn't care for yours.

*building off almighty*
Zuko doesn't appear to know Katara's name. He's only referred to her as "the girl."
Also, just because Zuko is no longer their enemy doesn't mean he's going to be their friend either. Aang&Co have no idea Zuko's stopped chasing them (although you'd think they'd start to get suspicious at his absence).

Am I the only person who saw the way Zuko reacted when Song mentioned that there was still hope.. the Avatar has returned??
Zuko is still Aang's enemy... and will probably continue to chase them if possible.. the Avatar is his absolute last hope...

Couldn't that have been him realizing what hope the Avatar brings to others, though? Others like Song?

Nope.. his reaction was more along the lines of "I know the Avatar has returned, and I'm not happy about it".. I think Zuko is still going to try to grab Aang if the opportunity presents itself.

Yeah. Zuko's broken most of his ties with the Fire Nation, but the boy's still living in denial. He's still holding onto that last shred of hope that maybe his father will welcome him back. I could easily see Zuko befriending Aang, only to betray him to the Fire Nation later. "Blood is thicker than water," as the saying goes.

Ohhhh... me likeee... I haven't been too fond of all the theories that Zuko is going to join Aang and company because it just seems like too much of a stretch for him.. he's a loner.. but I could see him befriending Aang -- who's too trusting and would totally buy into it and never suspect a thing -- then betraying him to his father at a later point in time..
Of course since we all know Zuko isn't evil -- he'll be filled with all kinds of angst over his actions and need to rectify the situation...

I could see that happening ^ with him stealing the Ostrich already proves he has that personality. He kind of like a wild animal you can be nice to it but it will eventually bite you. I'm sure you would know your friend's stalker's name but he/she wouldn't care for yours. That is so true! I love that quote! ;D
