I wonder if that girl is really a mute. She didn't say a single thing. She didn't get much screen time either. Her and Zuko are in the same car at the end so IMHO. She is his date.
Jet knows Zuko is FN now so something is going to happen, and soon. Zuko's swords are back. So odds are it'll be a sword fight!

We know they have outfits for the ball - I've seen the pictures.
And you don't have to be blushy and embarrassed to have a crush - the poor kid is in the middle of a bad emotional state, cut him a break.

no prob. legends!!! tru: It wasn't really a confession, he was just finally letting his emotions show again and he found hope again so he told her that he realized how much Appa and her mean to him. It didn't seem like a romantic thing. Then after they hugged she fixed his collar, it was cute like she was his mother The way you describe it, makes it sound like Aang wants a platonic relationship. Although even if he doesn't, he clearly works against himself in this shipping thing. I know that it suits his character as being evasive and he is 12 and she 14, so I guess it's natural, that he is a little bit shy confessing. Still after so many episodes, I would really want him to finally admit directly, even as a Zutarian. At the begining the whole crush was cute, but it starts to get on my nerves somehow.

I find it a hard situation to judge. That's like trying to assess someone's true emotions after they just found out their family had been in a car wreck or something. Until the whole Appa thing is worked out, it'll be hard to tell for sure one way or another.

We know he's in the middle of an emotional state, but he wasn't acting blushy blushy...but he still has the crush, it won't go away in one episode.

Aang still has a crush on Katara - of that I have no doubt. Thx for the info. Is there another scene, that would proof this. The confession scene is very vague in my opinion, although I might change my opinion after seeing it.

The confession scene is very vague in my opinion, although I might change my opinion after seeing it. It was very downplayed. That was for the best. I mean honestly, if he'd been going all happy-gooshy with Katara while Appa's fate was still in question, everyone would think he was an insensitive jerk. Edit: Or at best they'd think he's just really flighty emotionally.

And as for best parts...the fight was awesome but I really loved the Suki/Toph kiss. It was one of the funniest moments.

My favorite was when Zuko witnessed Iroh flirting with the lady at the counter. Too funny. And Luna? HTF did you get 144 karma?

Yeah, I stopped with the whole speculating thing yesterday, after a Kataang said, that this "confession" could mean, that Aang has plans on marrying Katara and eventualy founding a family. At this point I somehow realized, that I was exaggerating all scenes with speculations too and totally forgot that the youngest one is 12 and the "oldest" around 16.
