"Sure, I'd love some dessert!" Aranjee said, she was still hungry after a huge main course, because she had not eaten since she left the Orange Castle yesterday. "Phamakian has the best food in this dimension!" the Orange Queen complimented, and it was true.
A servant brought out to plates of warm, fresh fruit pie with generous amounts of honey on top. The plates were decorated with various real flowers and candy ones which were quite delicious. Silently, the two queens enjoyed their dessert.
"So. . ." began Aranjee. "I was thinking that maybe in a couple of days I'll go visit Pirogoeth, since I am already half way there. Would you like to come with me? We haven't seen her in quite some time."

She licked her fingers delicately, setting her fork down as the servant left with the plate. "Well, of course!" Adjusting her position, she toyed carelessly with a strand of golden blonde hair. "I haven't seen her for the longest time. But, first, I'll have to name a regent."

"That's great!" Aranjee was elated that she hang out with Mashnipfaeri and Luna at the same time. "Let's leave in two days, I would like to spend some more time in Phamakian. There's so much to do here. Oh, and do you think we should invite Luna? We don't want her to feel left out."
Aranjee was practically out of her seat, she couldn't sit still, she was so excited. Since the four queens lived so far apart, they did not get to visit each other as often as Aranjee would like.
"Also, we need to write to Pirogoeth so she'll know when we will arrive," Aranjee almost forgot that she hadn't told Piro that she was coming to visit her.

"Oh, yeah! And we should, definitely, invite Luna. I haven't seen that girl in ages." She giggled excitedly. "Oh, and my regent? I'll have Chinafigure be my regent."
Chinafigure was her older sister, a mellow, understanding girl who was like a surrogate mother. "Chinafigure will do a good job, even though she didn't want to rule in the first place, she'll do it for me."

"Speaking of Chinafigure, where is she? I haven't seen her in over a year. Anyway, let's go to your study, we need to write letters to Luna and Pirogoeth," Aranjee shot out questions like bullets, she could talk for hours.
This was turning out to be a great trip for Aranjee, she was going to get to see all her best friends. Everything was working out just fine.

"Okay, well, I think I'll go write my letter to Piro," Aranjee said. "I know where your study is, upstairs on the second floor, throed door to the right," the Orange Queen said confirming that she knew where it was.
Quickly, Aranjee ran upstairs into the study and sat down at one of the beautiful dark wood desks. In a drawer with a sturdy gold handle, she found parchment, ink, and a quill. "I guess Mashnipfaeri doesn't have any orange ink," Aranjee frowned.
"No problem though," with a snap of her fingers the young queen turned the midnight black ink into s deep orange shade. Immediately, she began writing.
Dear Slurpie Queen Pirogoeth,
My friend, I have a most wonderful surprise for you!
Mashnipfaeri and I are planning a visit to Macalania. Right now, I am at Mash's palace in Phamakian. I came to visit her, and we decided to see you, since it's been a while. Mashy will be writing to Luna, as it wouldn't be the same with out her. We are departing Phamakian in two days, so we should arrive at the Ice Palace in five days. And then we will go to Hountai in about a week. We are going to have a fantastic time!
Your overly-excited friend, Aranjee the Orange Queen
With that conclusion, Aranjee sprinted out of the study to find Mashnipfaeri and to send her letter to Luna.

Luna peered out the window uneaily, her brown eyes full of concern. The sky was light, and she was at her weakest. She wasn't sure if the Dark Lords knew of her weakness, but she prayed that they'd last another hour when the moon was out.
She went over to her bed, and sat down with another sigh. Her dress was starting to annoy her. It was too big and extravagant, if her kingdom needed her on short notice, she'd have no time to change. She decided to change into something more lithe.
As she opened her closest, there was a knock at the door.
"Come in," Luna called from her wardrobe.
Her mother came traipsing through the door, just as elegantly dressed as her daughter. She held more grace, more wisedom, and the adulthood of beauty. Luna often envied her mother's radiant beauty, but reminded herself that she looked a spitting image of her, and would hopefully grow up to her like her.
"Luna," she began, a little uncertain. "You're going to be 15 soon, and do you know what that means?"
"I'm closer to 16?" She asked with a wide grin.
Her mother chuckled. "No. It means that we need to find you a suitor."
Luna nearly dropped the dress she was inspecting. "What? Already?"
"Yes, you know our customs. We get married earlier in the Hountai Kingdom, so we have a stronger foundation and more power. It's to the Kingdom's advantage."
"But what about me? What if I don't want to get married? You can't just choose for me!" Luna exclaimed, hurt that her mother was saying such stuff.
"Well, you get to choose, but you don't have much time. We need him to be chosen by your 15th birthday." With that she stood, kissed Luna on the forehead, and then strode out of the room, all of her grace following her.
Luna struggled to restrain her anger. She wanted to scream out and destroy something. It was a good thing she wasn't able to channel her powers at the moment.
I'll just go for a nice fly when the moons out She thought wistfully.
She shed her gown and slipped into the other dress. This was just as beautiful, decorated with the same colors, like most of her clothes. It hung to her knees, something her mother never approved of, with a low neck and soft touch. She admired the way it looked so good, for being so different.
Then she strode out her door, wondering where Arden was with Piro's response. She never got lost, and was always quicker than most delievery birds. She tried not to let her worry hinder her new found chipper mood.

As Aranjee rushed upstairs, Mash had grabbed her ink, quil, and parchement, beginning to scribble a quick note down. Dear LunaChaos the Moon Queen, Oh, I have a wonderful surprise for you! Aranjee and I are going to visit Pirogoeth, and after that, you! We'll be there in maybe a week and two days. I'll see you then! Sincerely, Mashnipfaeri the Blossom Queen And with that, she folded the letter up and turned around to face Aranjee.

A day later Arden still hadn't returned. Luna's worried increased, and she couldn't stop pacing. Usually she'd go out flying with her owl, as she was her only companion. All of the other girls wanted to be her friend for the wrong reason, and that was the same for most of the guys.
Yesterday had been awful. She'd gone out in her short dress, and she immediately had all the attention. But she hated. They were all fake. She wondered how she'd ever find the perfect man.
Suddenly, in the soft glow in the moonlight, she somethibg approach. To anxious that it might be Arden, she jumped out the window and took flight. The wind beat at her face, rustled her hair, but she didn't mind. The feeling of flying couldn't beat anything.
She was disappointed when she saw it was Jakian, Mash's bird. She loved each of her friends dearly, and their birds, but she was concerned about her own. She ledthe giant bird to her room, and unfastned the letter. As she read it, her spirits soared. This was the kind of good news she needed.
She excitedly started penning a reply:
Dear Mashy,
You don't know how wonderful that news is, especially for me at the moment. I'm having troubles. Arden hasn't come back yet with a response from Piro, but I suppose the girl is just being lazy again. But anyways, my mom is making me pick a suitor! And I only have two months!
All the guys here want to marry me already, but for the wrong reasons. I need some help, and hopefully you three will be the perfect present. I hope you have fun at Piro's Kingdom, but I can't wait till you're here.
Love,
LunaChaos the Moon Queen
Then Jakian was off.

The next morning at breakfast, Aranjee had a great idea.
"Hey, Mash, you know how I can communicate telepathically with orange trees," Aranjee began. "Well maybe you can do that with flowers. Wanna try it out?" the eager queen spoke quickly, smiling and awaiting an answer.

It was a stunning view. Rays of sunlight gently graced the vibrant sky as the sun dipped lower into the horizon, sinking below the earth. Fingers of crimson, orange, and lavender were stretching across the heavens, eventually becoming darker further towards the east, as little puffs of clouds lined with peach gradually began to drift away. A figure, a large bird, jetted across the sky, large, colorful wings sweeping the firmament and stars as the sun disappeared. Suddenly, Mash felt a great gust of wind, and, upon the windowsill, was Jaken. In its foot was a letter and, immediately, Aranjee picked it up and probed the words. --- The next morning, Aranjee and Mash went to breakfast. "I don't know. Sure." She shrugged. ---
Wow, we're on different times! ;D
