OOC: As you wish. The character being presented forth is this....[Kaito, medium length jet black hair, dark blue eyes, about 6' feet tall, No Nation(origins point to Earth Kingdom however), non-bender and is ashamed of the fact, 19 years old)
Kaito IC:
Black hair quietly blew in front of blue orbs that seemed to sweep across the room, taking the entire scene in. He was decently far from all the talking and dancing, he was leaning against the wall by the entrance to the area and some wind was getting in and blowing the comforting breeze along his body.
For days upon his arrival within the Fire Nation, he had pondered his reasons for his invitation to the event, but really he knew all along. It was half respect and half "just to make you feel better that most ignore you". An irritant to the mind to be sure, he was sure a pearl would be produced within his head if it kept up. Amusing image that was.
His blue eyes serenely took in all the dancing and merriness of peace that flowed and ebbed within everybody. The joy, the uncertainty, the love, the fun, the honor and respect.
It was nice to be here, he was honored despite half the reasoning, but it was probably not suited for him. Most ignored him, even when he approached in the past.
Kaito remembered when he had begun his teachings and theories to the world in his self-exile; close to everyone either just got up and left or just stayed to make him feel better.
However, this event was not to dwell on the past, but to mind the future and enjoy the present. He would do well to remember this.
Kaito continued his observation.

The room seemed as if it was getting warmer. Or maybe that's just me Mizuki frowned, waving her fan with more energy. Standing up she said, "Please excus me Zen, I think I'll just get a little fresh air." Stepping gigerly over to the outside door, she took several deep breaths. Absently, she noticed a young man leaning against the doorway. Odd... She walked a little ways and listened to the distant music. Finding a bench, she sat down heavily, breathing with gusto. How could noblewomen wear these infurriating dresses? She could hardly breath.

Kaito watched as a young woman approached and then passed through the doorway to the outside. To get some fresh air no doubt. He nodded to her respectfully as she went by and continued his observation of the room for a few moments until he remembered how the young lady was using her fan and breathing.
Must be new to the dresses, chuckled Kaito inside his head.
Turning silently, he swiftly moved outside and toward the girl, almost gliding across the ground until he reached the bench she was on, breathing startlingly heavily.
"Excuse me, Miss," he intervened in a gentle whisper, "are you alright? You are having some trouble breathing if you don't mind me pointing out the obvious. To regain some of that breath back you might want to lay down somewhere soft and take it easy. Though that could be a problem now couldn't it."
Kaito sat down next to the girl suddenly, who was probably confused at the moment as he looked around for where she could lay down.
"Forgive my intrusion," he said while still sweeping the land with his eyes, "I once had a sister who was in the same predicament you're in. Dress was too tight on her, couldn't breathe and needed to relax..."
Cutting himself off from any excessive words and painful memories, he let that make the girl know he understood and was just trying to help. Whether she accepted or not was to be seen.

Mizuki swallowed. The man had just started talking to her...about her dress? He obviously knew what was wrong and she nodded weakly. "Maybe...maybe on the bench?" She gasped. Her head was swimming from lack of oxygen. Her vision was blurring as she struggled to stay awake. The fan dropped from her hand onto the ground as she fainted.

Kaito kept looking around, his eyes observing...nothing. Not a patch of softness anywhere, would have to use a room.
Her answering quickly drew his head to look in her direction, her breathing wasn't good, the girl was breathless...and not in the good way either.
Next thing he knew, her fan was on the ground and she was falling off the bench and heading for the ground.
"Miss!"
Quickly he dropped onto a knee and caught her mid-fall before she got to the ground. Quietly he set his hand on her cheek and then slid it gently to her neck, feeling her pulse.
Alive, but out cold. Poor girl.
He held onto her with one arm and grabbed hold of her fan, then hoisted her up in his arms and quietly walked around to see if he could find someone who knew of the room situations. Not until he was heading back for the main door did a former commander that was exiting finally notice them.
"Sir? What's going on here?" he asked, nodding to the girl.
"I need your help, if you'd be so kind. This girl has fainted due to...who knows what reasons," didn't want to embarrass her, "I would like a room to get her comfortable in."
"Of course, of course. Go into the main hall, turn right near the end and along the corridor, there shall be some rooms."
"Thank you."
Kaito swept into the main hall with the big party and kept on the outskirts to avoid everyone, though he knew he was attracting a few looks. His face was turning a small shade of red but he kept going until he reached a room and went inside, still holding the girl.
"Any outsider assumptions aside, we're finally here," he said, more to himself.
Setting the girl down on the bed, he set the fan on a nearby table and sat down on the edge of the bed, putting a soft blanket on her and trying to loosen the back of her dress just enough where air would be easier to return and yet enough where he didn't come out looking like a perv.
Wouldn't that make a lovely situation, Kaito thought sarcastically.
Soon enough, he had gone from and then returned to the room with herbs and a small pot and began making some medicine that would ease the body; glad for an excuse to be away from all the dancing and partying.
Kaito quietly kept up the making of the medicine and dabbing a small leaf with the medicine on it across the girl's forehead. A soothing feel he had discovered in his exile.
He waited for her to revive and wondered if she had anyone she was with so he could inform them of what happened afterward.

Zen watched Mizuki walk outside to get some air and then returned to his food. While she was gone he had a polite conversation with Mizuki's brother, who appeared to be more interested in the food on his plate more than anything else. He was just starting to wonder what happened to Mizuki when he saw a young man carrying her toward the rooms. "What the heck is going on?" he thought to himself as he stood up. He started to head over to where the man had headed. The closer he got the more his imagination got carried away to the point that when he found the guy he was going to burn him to crisp. When he got closer to the door however the man came back out, got some herbs and then return to the room. Zen followed him down the hall and stopped in front of the door that the man went into. He took a deep breath, wondering why Mizuki would need medical attention, and then knocked.

Kaito kept up his work and set the pot aside for later and continued to dab the leaf lightly on her head and watched her. She was breathing easier he noticed, that was good. Shouldn't be too long before she came around again.
Then the knock came.
"You have a visitor, so it would seem."
Taking the leaf off and setting it on a cloth momentarily, he got up and moved toward the door and opened up, seeing another man looking straight back at him, full of concern. Could be a brother or maybe a lover? Who knew.
"Yes? I presume that you come here because you know her," he motioned toward the girl breathing evenly on the bed.
"Come in."
He left the door open for the man as he went back to the seat next to the bed and grasped the leaf, dipped it in the medicine liquid and then continued dabbing the forehead of the girl.
"Who are you, might I ask?"

Mizuki opened her eyes. The first thing she saw the young man leaning over her and touching her forehead. She jerked back, her cheeks turning a violent shade of red. Looking around, she noticed she was in a small room, laying on a soft, blanketed bed. Her face flet on fire. "Whe-what are you d-doing." She stammered, scooting back. She touched her forehead and felt a cool paste. "W-what happened?" There was a knock on the door and the man opened it. Zen walked in, clearly worried. "Zen!" She cried and stood up.

Kaito watched the girl as he dabbed and then suddenly she awoke and boy did she!
She looked at him for a moment of wonder and then jerked back like a mouse realizing it was sleeping with a snake. Kaito blinked. She began turning as red as the Fire Nation flag and demanding to know what happened.
"You fainted," Kaito responded simply as she stood up to the newcomer, "and lay down for just a moment longer, you might want to wait a few moments before getting back up so quickly."
Gently Kaito set the girl back on the bed and looked at the man.
"So, Zen, huh? Nice to meet you, and you as well, miss. Though I wish it were under nicer circumstances, though it should all be fine in a few moments."
Kaito looked between the two of them and scratched his chin in thought. Accidentally he voiced his thought.
"Should I leave you two alone, I wonder?" Realizing his mistake, Kaito coughed and went into a small silence.

Zen looked at the man, "I'm Z..." he was cut off by Mizuki's sudden awakening. Before he could recover from suddenly seeing Mizuki wake up the man explained what had happened and spoke to Zen again. Zen was momentarily dazed as he walked into the room. He turned to Mizuki and asked if she was ok. He remembered the other man in the room missing his last question. He bowed his head to the man, "My name is Zen, thank you for helping Mizuki...I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

Mizuki was gently pushed back onto the bed. Her head was hurting and her cheeks were still a blazing red. "H-he's just a friend." She whispered to the man. She turned to Zen, still standing in the doorway. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it quickly, not being able to put a sentence together. Instead, she put her hand on her face in an effort to cool it down and sat against the bed pillows.

Kaito nodded toward Mizuki, at least that was apparently her name, as she mentioned Zen was just a friend. He looked back at the man.
"It really matters very little on my part, but the name is Kaito if you must know. And it really was no trouble helping Miss Mizuki here, just doing what I can. Looks like she needs more of the soothing medicine."
Taking the leaf and dipping it into the bowl once more, Kaito began to dab it on Mizuki's forehead again, trying to get the brain to calm and send the message to the rest of the body.
"Besides the unfortunate incident, I'm hoping both of your days have gone well?"

(OOC: Ok, since I started this board, it should probably go somewhere...so this is just and idea. ~Zula, the Fire Lord's sister, ran away after her father failed to live. With her she took a small band of firebenders who were still loyal to Ozai. She plans to remove her uncle and brother from the Fire Nation once and for all. Slowly, she built a small resistance against her brother and plans to sometime soon attack swiftly. ~The Fire Lord must choose a bride so that he does not leave the Fire Nation heirless. The only thing is that she should be from the Fie Nation. ~Zuko is going to be working on searching for any airbenders or relations that could have been overlooked during the war because in reality, it could be that there were some that escaped or reamined hidden. ~An underground society (so to speak) has been formed directly under the nose of Fire Lord Ozai and they are also planning to make sure that another war does not happen. They are highly skilled benders and warriors from every nation (airbenders undecided as yet). They have spies everywhere and can be in the most suprising places. They are not against Zuko, they merely wish to observe him and make sure he does not mimick his father's actions. Thier only distinguishing mark is a tattoe on the right shoulder just below the collar bone; a circle divided into four parts, representing the four nations in unity but also seperate. It is their sign that allows them to trust one another.
We may or may not be in the Fire Nation when these certain events occur and/or people appear but something along these lines are in order.
So that is all my ideas for now! Please tell me if you like them!)
BIC: Mizuki nodded in answer to Kaito's question as he put a little more of the salve on her forehead. It cleared her head considerably and she wasn't very dizzy anymore. "Thank you, Kaito. S-sorry about....before." Her voice faded a little at the end, remembering how she seemed scared of him. Turning to Zen she smiled a slightly. "Thanks for coming to check on me. I hope you didn't have to entertain my brother longer than needed."

OOC: The ideas sound really good. I just have to protest to Zula not trying anything at the ball. It would allow her to get close the the fire lord unnoticed in a public area, she could easily surround him, and by doing it in such an open area she would instill fear into everyone so that when so took the throne everyone would be to afraid to do anything. But lets say she doesn't have the manpower for such an operation as of yet, and would all of her followers be fire nationers or benders?
BIC: Zen chuckled a little at what Mizuki said, "Entertain him, I passed him the rolls and he was content until I left." Putting on a more serious tone he asked Mizuki, "Are you sure your OK? If you are I think we should get back to the ball before your missed. You can join us Kaito."
