Rendai watched the old man lower himself and walk toward the front. He was one of the guides who was put in charge of the details, where the other old man and Rendai were put in charge of the bigger picture.
As people began to shuffle around it seemed that everyone needed to get to their posts. He looked down at Luci, "It was nice to meet you, I hope to talk to you again soon," and turning to the other girl he said, "and since you are apparently a leader, I'll be seeing much of you." He then turned to Shinju, "I don't have anything to do, the other guides are leading for tonight, so I was wondering if I could talk to you about something?"

Yoshitsune nodded to the man called Rendai."Yes I suppose we will be seeing much of each other."
But then Yoshitsune turned to Luci,"Listen, I should be getting on towards the front to see if those men will believe me now so that I can see where I'm needed. But I'll see you occasionally, alright?"Yoshitsune finished, not really expecting an answer.
She then ran towards the main leaders. Yoshitsune thought they'd be the ones to talk to.

Luci nodded and watched Yoshitsune run off to try to get the main leaders to listen. She looked around. Once they started moving she wouldn't have too much of a problem with boredom. Traveling was what she did.
Luci proceded to walk more toward the front of the group as well, where the smaller families were positioning themselves. Along the way she helped a few people who had either dropped a belonging or needed help settling Ostrich Horses.

Once Yoshitsune finally got through the desperate crowd she told the man,
"Excuse me, sir. I was trying to get your attention earlier, but you weren't listening. I'm one of the leaders and was just coming to you to see where you'd like to post me."
The old man(Kai) observed Yoshitsune. To him she didn't seem like leader material,"Are you even qualified? We don't have much time for nonsense, miss. We must get moving."
Yoshitsune was slightly taken aback,"Of course I'm qualified. I'm in the Fire Nation Resistance in Ba Sing Se and know exactly where the city lies."
But then an older, much wiser looking man(Yuujin) strode up to them, and said in a strong tone,"Your name?"in Yoshitsune's direction.
"Yoshitsune."she quickly replied.
He seemed to know who she was and said,"You will be posted in the front left of the point."
She bowed and went on. But then Yuujin turned to Kai, and said with authority,"I have the list of leaders, guides, and where they will be posted. Come to me if something in this manner occurs again."

Rendai watched as the two other girls left. He sighed at the prospect of the leader girl, she didn't seem to be very orginized if she couldn't get the other leaders attention.
After they had gone Rendai turned back to Shinju. "I would like to talk to you about the route we've selected. It seems fine except that we will be going incredibly close to a recently taken over earth kingdom town. Yuujin thinks that there will be very few guards, and many refugees. He wants to help them, and with our numbers I think we could. I told him that when we got close I'd go in with a small team to see if it was possible to save them." He sighed, he really didn't want to put her in danger by asking what he was going to, but he needed her help. "I would like your help when I go into the town. Will you help me?"

Shinju's eyes widened.
"Well, I...um." She stuttered. Quickly mulling it over she nodded. "Yes, I think I can. I'll do my best. What exactly were you thinking?" She asked him curiously.

Rendai smiled when she accepted, but it was only half-hearted. "Yuujin made it sound so possible." he sighed, "I was there about a month ago, the village was in ruins, the people where suffering, they had no homes, and the few fire nation soldiers that where there beat anyone who tried to leave to a pulp." Rendai sighed again, "The way that Yuujin presented it, I thought that we could really help those people. Though, I guess we'd be putting these refugees in danger." His meak smiled faded with that comment. "I think we can do it though. We're strong enough, aren't we?" he asked Shinju.

Shinju nodded and smiled, faltering though at the information she heard from Rendai. She sighed quietly.
"I hope so."
There was shouting at the front and Shinju looked up. People around them had begun to move forward.
"I guess we're leaving." She said.

Luci fell on her rear. "UGH."
The Ostrich Horse she had been tieing began moving foward when it saw the people begin to move, and knocked her over.
Luci stood up and turned around. Everyone was moving!
YES! She shouted in her head.
She dusted herself off and ran toward the front of the crowd. She'd hear anything she'd need to at the front where the guides were. She unfortunately had a small problem with eavesdropping. She got decently close and began walking at a normal pace, next to a few other familes.

Rendai looked up. "Yea, I guess we are." He looked back at Shinju. "I guess I better head up to the front so it looks like I'm doing something." He told her, more than happy that he didn't hold that information by himself anymore. "I'll see you when we stop for the night, or morning I suppose."

Yata Happily started moving when the crowd began its march or well cattle drive. They were on a dangerous path and he had to make sure no one strayed from the group to much. Without much of a look back he moved forward.

"Yes, I guess so." Shinju said to Rendai.
Waving slightly, she walked away. following the progress of the large group backwards. Most of the ostritch-horses were at the back where the larger familes had moved to. There were grim looks on almost every face as they martched in line. Shinju smiled and tried to cheer some of the stonier-faced ones. Her effort, however, was returned with only a few words. She sighed and continued to cirlce around the group.

Yoshitsune kept alert at her post. If she wanted the others to think of her as the leader she was, she figured she'd have to prove it. But then the caravan began heading forward, and she began moving as well.
They moved at a somewhat slow pace, do to the large group of people traveling almost single-file. But they seemed to be making good progress nonetheless. When Yoshitsune occasionally looked back to make sure everything was running smoothly, she noticed not one semi-happy face among them. But, who could really blame them?

Yata never really felt welcome with the refugees. No matter how sad everyone was they still had family and Friends to rely on. Yata didn't have that privilege. Not one person out of all the refugees noticed him, it was understandable giving the circumstances but he wanted a friend to help him out in these troubled times as well. Grudgingly he marched on.
