"How do we know you can prove taht? The Southern water Tribe has no waterbenders...And you are in fire Nation clothing and ship." He said with authority.
"Well take them back men. I want to talk to this one alone..." The man said to Shan.

Shan frowned.
"I go away from home for nearly two years," she sighed under her breath. She looked up at the man. "I am a member of the Northern Tribe and the others are waterbenders that I've met on the way. Zaka, the boy, is from the Southern Tribe and the girls are natives of the islands our scattered brothers and sisters inhabit, but all are Water Tribe as I am."

A fire burned the land, a child screamed, a man took the child and killed his mother, flame engulfed everything
Sosei suddenly sat up rigid in his bed. He was panting heavily and his sheets were drenched with sweat. That dream again. It's becoming more and more common. he thought to himself as he got up and began to dress. He felt the chill of the air and decided to go with two layers of clothes today. What does it mean though. Why do keep having the same dream?
This question tortured Sosei as he walked up toward the deck. He expected to see someone up on deck, but everyone and an group of unknown people. He was still have asleep and it didn't immediately register what was going on. Omni, Shan, Lucy, and Zaka were all frozen and the group of people had everyone guarded. One of the guards looked over and saw Sosei. It took him a moment to register the new person, but that moment passed quickly. He sent water flying at Sosei in an attempt to bind him as they had done to the others.
Sosei was more powerful than this man and spun the water around him and sent it back at his attacker. He was now fully awake and the other people were now aware of Sosei. Most prepared to attack him, and Sosei, feeling heavily outnumbered, called out to Shan, "I thought that you were from here Shan. Don't you know some of these people?"

"I'm trying to convince them," Shan yelled back at Sosei. She turns back to the man and points to Sosei. "That man is a Waterbender and has saved us repeatedly. Do you still doubt us?"

Omni moved closer to Shan as the guards came closer. "Oh gods." She whispered. She wasn't about to die, Omni told herself as Shan tried to negotiate with the waterbenders. Why wouldn't they just beleive them? Sosei had shown them he was a waterbender. She clutched the necklace around her neck tightly leaving a mark from the sign engraved on it. "Are they going to kill us?" She asked quietly.

Lucy looked at the water benders surrounding them. She tried to control her teeth chattering, but it proved to no avail. "We've given you proof, why can't you believe us?" she asked.

Tetsuo tested out his new face. It would serve its purpose. It was difficult to move his mouth, but that was not of much improtance seeing as Tetsuo did not consume solid foods anyway. Unfortunately, Tetsuo was having difficulty loudly enunciating words, and was forced to speak in a whisper.
"It will not be long," Tetsuo whispered, "Soon the battle shall begine, and Horyo shall feel my wrath. They must all die."

As Shan glared at the man, something caught his eye as he reached for Shan's collar. Shan suddenly raised her hand and slapped him in the cheek. Furiously, he grabbed her wrist.
"I was only looking at that pendant," he said firmly, holding it up. "This yours?"
Shan nodded.
"Who is your bethrothed?"
"Lok, son of Xue and Hua," Shan replied. "He went to aid his Southern Tribe brothers in the Earth Kingdom. That was nearly two years ago."
The man released her wrist. "You've comfirmed your idenity. Your companions, on the other hand, will be interegated further." He turns and walks away.
"The Northern Tribe has gone to great lengths to avoid the war," he added. "We're not about to let our efforts go to waste."

One of the warriors moved forward quickly and grabbed Omni's wrist, pulling her arm back. Several others moved forward to get the other members of the small crew. She wanted to struggle, but knew it might be better to just let them take her with them. The man tied her hands neatly together. "Don't let my bracelet fall off." She said quietly as the rope rubbed against her wrists. The man chuckled, then stopped abruptly as she felt him pull on the band around her wrist. "Sir, I think you should take a look at this." He said, dragging her over the commander.

Shan turned to the leader, frowning disapprovingly.

"I belonged to a small water tribe when I was small. I can water bend. I could show you if you like." She replied to one of the soldiers questions. "All right then. Show me." She put herself in a simple stance and performed one of her favorite moves. She smiled. "See?"

The men looked at Sosei and that at their fallen friend, obviously a little nerveous about aproaching him. Sosei put his hands forward and said, "I have nothing to hide." One of the men came forward and quickly tied his hands together. The man that was called over to look at Omni's bracelet looked up for a moment and ordered a few of his men to search the ship for anything suspicious. Sosei sat down and awaited their return. As he had said before, he had nothing to hide.
A few minutes later the men came back up, carrying Sosei's sword. Sosei jumped up, "Put down that sword before I destroy you with it!" he yelled at the man. The man who had examined Omni's bracelet was brought back from a daze and when he looked at the sword an expression of pure surprise came over him. He quickly stood up and ran to the man with the sword, stumbling in his rush. He grabbed the hilt of the sword and held it out toward the sea. He stared at it a moment and then looked past it at Sosei. "Men, I need you you to stay on deck and watch these people. You come with me." he said and pointed at Sosei.
Sosei followed him below deck still mad that the man was holding his sword. He followed him down the hallway and into the last door. The man sat down at the table and motioned for Sosei to sit opposite him. He put the sword on the table between them and then looked up at Sosei and asked an odd question, "How old are you?" A little taken back Sosei replied, "22, why?" Avoiding Sosei's question he started to mumble to himself. The few words that Sosei caught were, he'd be one, his master, no, its impossible.
The man looked Sosei dead in the eye and said, "Who gave you this sword?"
"My master."
"Was his name, by chance, Master Soren?"
Sosei looked at the man with a queer look, "Yes, How do you know my master?" he asked slowly.
The man took a deap breath and started his story. "Your master and I were from the same island in the southern area of the earth kingdom. I lived in the main city where the palace and most everyone else lived. He lived in the northern city that was not a normal city. It was made up of only waterbenders, and powerful ones. Master Soren was the leader of that village and the most powerful master that I've ever seen, except maybe Pakku. Anyway, when I was six, the city recieved a message from the earth kingdom saying that they had gotten wind of a plan to attack our island. We started to mass our troops and a month later it happened. They attacked the northern village. We thought that we would be victorious until someone pointed out that in all of our panic, noone had told them of the potential threat. We sent our army immediately, but it was hours after the battle had started and it was a small village."
He took a deep breath and continued his story in at a much slower pace. "The soldiers returned a few hours later with only two things, an empty and burnt chest, and a women on the strecher. The chest was where all of the master level scrolls were contained and was completely destroyed, the women was badly burnt and was in horrible pain. We brought out our best doctors, but it was no use, she died a half hour later. Before she died however she said a very curious thing. She repeated over and over that they had taken them. At the time we assumed that it was some of the men to be publicly executed in the fire nation, but when we did the body count we only counted two people missing. Master Soren, and his son. The sword that was the treasured possension of that village was also gone. We were then invaded again by the fire nation 10 or so years later, that is when I fled here, to the north. You carry Soren's sword, you are Soren's son, and we are glad to have you here when we are so close to war. I just have one question for, why did you bring the princess here?"
Sosei was in a daze. Everything that he had seen in his dream was piecing together, some of the mysteries of his life had been solved, yet it held a new problem over his head, who was this princess. "When you say princess, do you mean Omni?" Sosei asked still a little shocked at this information.
"Omni was the name of the young princess when I lived at the island. So yes, the young girl with the bracelet is who I am refering to." The man leaned across the table and cut the bonds on Sosei's wrist. "I believe that I have told you much that you need to think on, I suppose that she doesn't then either. I'll let you tell her, but I would tell her soon if I were you. She must eventually learn that she is the princess of Blue Fish Isle." With that the man left the room with Sosei still sitting there, stunned. He walked up on deck and told the men that these people were allies and that they would guide them to the North.

Omni was worried when she didn't see Sosei come back up, but was relieved when the man told them they were allies. "Cut her bonds!" He hissed to the man holding her. The young warrior nodded mutely and quickly cut the rope holding her wrists together. Others began to untie her compainions. The commander stood next to Omni and put a hand gently on her shoulder. "Where's Sosei?" She asked glancing at the door they had went through. "Go through the last door. Sosei will be there." He whispered. Why are they acting so strange? She wondered as she walked towards the door. Everyone else would be alright, Shan knows them. They'll help us. Omni thought as she walked quickly down the hallway and pushed the last door open, exposing Sosei sitting in a chair.

Sosei was still in shock when he heard the door open behind him. He slowly turned his head to see who had arrived, and when he saw that it was Omni he got a quick shock that quickly faded into comfort. I can tell her. She can help me carry this knowledge. He was about to just tell her of their relationship, but then it occurred to him, that if it shocked and confused him so much that he might want to take another approach. His eyes fell on Omni's bracelet and the idea came to mind. He said simply, "That is a beautiful bracelet Omni. May I ask where you got it?"
