OOC: I'm fine with it as long as its just my charactor turning around.
BIC: "That's an understatement," Kasvar commentened on Zuko's mention of misfits, "sorry many years in the wilderness sort of kills your manners." Kasvar then took a huge swig of tea.

(OOC: if you guys don't mind, it'll be the next day for me and also, how long will it take for the Fire Nation messengers to reach the South Pole?)
BIC: The next morning, Manami woke just as the sky was turning pink, slowly brightening the sky. She stood up and streched. Looking around, she noticed that her aunt and uncle were gone. Her cousins were still asleep, so she changed quickly and went outside. Her uncle was already dressed and pulling the canoe into the water. He motioned to her and she walked over to him, grabbing a paddle from the icy shore. He lifted the large bundle into the canoe, the sled that needed to be repaired. She climbed inside as her uncle pushed off. They paddled swiftly against the current and soon found themsleves in a wide expanse of water on their way to the Southern Water Tribe city. They followed the current right into the city, going underneath a snowy arch. They both put the paddles into the canoe and Manami stood, pushing them by water bending further into the city. Eventually they reached their destination, a small snow house where they could get their sled fixed.

((they'll reach it whenever you want them too.))
Zuko laughed again, then looked at Masho, waiting for an answer.

Masho thought for a few seconds and finally said"Yes,I'm pretty sure that I want to join the resistance.I mean my life isn't that easy as it is,if I had been caught and sentenced to death before joining the resistance then I would probably experience the same death.Zula is ruthless after all."And with that Masho took another sip of her tea.

Manami was allowed free rein of the city until the man behind the counter fixed their broken sled. He uncle shooed her out of the shop and told her to look around. Manami walked out resolutly. She didn't particularly like being in the new city. It was too big for her taste and she hardly knew anyone who lived here. But her uncle would not let her back in, and she knew she would just be bored anyways. So she began to look araound, examining the houses and harbored canoes, most more intricately decorated then their own. She also saw several peopel walking here and there, shopping and whatnot. As she moved closer towards the center, she noticed a commotion in a large spacious area that served as a market square. Pushing her way past several people she finally got a veiw of what was going on. "...should be thrown out this instant! The nerve!" A voice said. People were murmmering all around her and Manami soon saw why. Surrounded by many waterbenders, a lone Fire Nation soldier was on the ground, one hand up in defense, the other supporting his wieght, about to fall into the cold water. "But the message! It is important! Please, I came in peace!" He was saying frantically. "Fire Nation scum! What you have to tell us is of no importance! Leave now before you are given no mercy!" One waterbender said loudly. "The message is from Zuko! Not the Fire Lord!" The man said, his last chance to interest the waterbenders. It worked...sort of. "Don't believe him, Pau! He lies!" Cried one waterbender behind him. With two steps forward, Pau grabbed the man and lifted him off the ground by the soldiers collar. "Zuko? What is the message?" He asked quietly. "It-it's about the A-avatar." The man stammered, his feet wavering a few inches off the ground. "Liar!" Pau hissed. A younger waterbender tapped Pau on the shoulder. "Sir, the Avatar is here! A secret kept since the last one died. Her guardian was called here today, because of the resistence movement." He whispered into Pau's ear. "She is here in the city today!" Pau dropped the man. "Get her! Rumors must not spread. She will need to be told right away!"
Manami stood, immoblie. The Avatar? What was his name...Aang. It sounded familiar. He was an airbender...blue arrow on his head...young monk.... Thoughts forced themselves into her mind. Broken from her thinking moment, Pau pulled her hand. "Lucky she was here. You think she heard?" Pau asked the young waterbender. "Every word." She was with the soldier now, Pau kneeling next to her. "Here, she is here. Tell Zuko that she is in the Southern Water Tribe. He is our last hope." Manami pulled away, still dazed. "What is going on? I-I don't feel so good...." Pau held her and watched the Fire Nation messenger run quickly away back to his ship. "You're the Avatar." He whispered.
(OOC: cheesy, yes. Thank you for this award! *blows kisses* nothing else came to my mind. so sorry....)

Zuko was about to answer, when a bird flew in the window. There was a note tied to it's leg, and Zuko read it. He looked up smiling, and said "They've found the Avatar."
((yes, i know, birds don't fly that fast, but just to keep the story moving let's pretend they do.))

OOC: or you can say that we have a time line that is slightly different so that the bird could arrive after traveling for a few days and then Omni could join you the next day or something. Ya and I'm doing what Omni did and having the next day come for Tenkei.
BIC: Tenkei awoke early in the morning anxious to get on with her mission. She went to the docks and arrived in time to watch the sun rise over the ocean. She loved the sunrise because it brought pleasant memories for her and represented the power of fire. She waited at the docks for only about an hour before the men she was commanding arrived. "Glad that you could all make it. Our goal is to find any information on a new avatar and a rebellion that is brewing in the earth kingdom. OK, lets go." With that Tenkei and the soldiers boarded the ship and set off toward the earth kingdom because it was probably a better idea to go to where they knew people were. Also the idea of the avatar was a distant one to Tenkei, she grew up believing that he/she was dead.

(OOC: yeah, or we could pretend that Zuko sent the soldiers a few days earlier and that they sent the message, so it's kind of like what Manami was doing was a few days ago....maybe if that made any sense....I'll pretend they're taking her to the Earth Kingdom....so in like a day she'll be there....they'll go fast...)
BIC: Manami was standing on the ship's deck, staring out towards the sea. The metal felt strange beneath her feet, so different from the wooden bottom of the canoes. She took a deep breath that calmed her nerves. The Avatar.... The thought never left her. And now she was going with the Fire Nation soldier to meet the exiled Prince Zuko, the one in charge of the rebellion. She had no idea how she could help, she was only fifteen. She pulled the canteen of water in front of her and started bending, twisting and weaving the water around. Her heart beat slowed as she felt the water push and pull bewteen her hands. The Avatar....

The soldier came up onto the deck. "Avatar Manami, we are nearing the first Earth Kingdom stop." Manami turned and the man bowed. "I must ask you to come below deck so....that..." Manami smiled. "So that no one sees me. Yes, I understand. And I must ask you to call me Manami, none of this Avatar stuff." She said putting the water back into the waterskin. The man bowed again. "Of course, Av- Manami. I'll show you to your rooms." She followed him below the ship's deck and into a small but lavishly furnished room. Manami felt strange. She had never seen, much less touched, such finery as this. She shut the door as the soldier left, and examined her room. The bed was fairly simple, the blanket a deep red with the Fire Nation symbol on it. There was also a trunk carved with writings and pictures. She sat heavily on the bed and lay down, her feet hanging off the edge. She didn't feel tired, but before she knew it, her head lolled to one side and she was sleeping.

(OOC: I'll pretend that my other posts took place a few days ago so it kinda makes sense The sun was shining brightly through the small window in the Fire Nation ship, right onto Manami's closed eyes. She yawned and opened her eyes blearily, looking around to see where she was. The ship was rocking steadily, she could feel the water move beneath it. She sat up and rubbed her face, noticing that someone had lifted her legs of the bed and covered her with a blanket. She sighed and got up, unbunching her parka and rubbing the fur collor for comfort. Stretching, she walked on deck and found the soldier staring at the approaching land. He turned when he heard her footsteps and bowed. "We will be at the Fire Nation encampment shortly." He said smiling slightly. Manami nodded and pulled her parka hood over her face to block the wind. Several hours later, Manami found herself riding on the back of a strange creature. She could see ahead several tents that had been set up and a few people walking around. They approached the largest of them and the soldier and Manami dismounted. "Wait here." He said before ducking into the tent. Inside, she could here voices, but tried not to think about it. Here, she felt so alone, away from the comfort of the village and her family. She fingered a wodden bead on her parka, waiting for the soldier to come out again.
