Kasvar took a deep breath of the northern air he found it even more refreashing every time he came here. This time however it was for what he had been hoping for all along. A resistance had been established and he knew that with his reputation for being a real problem for the fire nation would put him in high standings. Another reason this was so important to him was that the leader of the resistance was none other than Zuko, who by some odd coincidence happened to be the cousin of Kasvar.

Zuko looked out from his hideout in the Earth Kingdom, and sighed. He had been hearing rumors that the Avatar was back, and he needed to find whoever Aang had been reborn into. He summoned several of his leaders, and said "Take a group of men, and divide them into two groups. send one group to the Northern Water tribe, and one to the Southern. Take these flags so they know you come in peace." Zuko gave them a white flag with the Water Tribe symbol on it. "Now go!" he said, and the men ran off to assemble their groups. Zuko saw someone walk up the hidden path toward their hideout. Zuko thought he reconized the figure. "Kasvar?" he called. "Is that you?"

Manami was sitting comfortably against a wooden rack that was holding the fish so they would dry. She was just enjoying the sun, shinning bright today even though it had been cloudy the day before. She had the job of keeping birds and any other animals away from the drying fish, poking at them with her slim water-tribe spear. Manami also had the unfortunate job of watching her younger cousins play in the snow. She had been constantly attcked by flying snowballs and huge snowmen figures. Some of her cousins had discovered the art of waterbending snow and had covered themsleves with the fluffy stuff, promptly attacking her. But they were getting tired, and one by one, trooped back inside the igloo to go to have lunch. Then she was alone, sitting with her eyes barely open observing the landscape. It was considerably empty, except for some igloo's and small tents dotting the area. Farther off was the Water Tribe City, still being rebuilt even after 15 years. She sighed quietly and stood up to rub salt on the fish. A soft wind blew from the ocean bringing the smell of salt and the scents of cooking lunch.

Masho kept walking and saw stopped suddenly. There were white flags in the distance with the water nation symbol on them."What the?!?",Masho said.Masho walked towards the flags pushing the branches and other stuff out of the way.She finally stumbled into a clearing. There were people buzzing around getting into groups."I think I found the resistance",Masho said quietly.Luckily the people were too busy to notice her.Masho looked around and started to look for the leader of the resistance.

A few hours later, Manami cut the fish down and stored them in a small tent outside. The sun was setting, and casting a reddish glow over the white snow. She tied the tent flaps tight, thus making sure no rouge penguins wandered in to steal their food. She walked slowly to the igloo, enjoying the beautiful sunset. Entering her humble home, she was greeted by her snoring cousins. Her aunt and uncle were just laying down in their wooden cots. They smiled and her aunt said, "We already put your blankets out. Good night Ami." "Thanks." She replied, yawning. Just as she lay down, her uncle spoke. "Ami, in the morning I'm going to the city to get our sled fixed. You're welcome to come." She nodded her head and was soon fast asleep.

"Yes Zuko it is me." Kasvar came up to Zuko. "So I hear your heading up the resistance now. Think you could use another fire rouge?"

Tenkei spent the rest of the day searching around for the right people to accompany her on her voyage. She searched the town for well known firebenders with grudges against the avatar, the water tribe, or Zuko. After she had nine people committed to joining her she went in search of her best friend, Kyo. When she found him and asked him to join her he immediatly agreed. So she went to bed, proud of her accomplishments and her chance to prove herself.

"I think you know the answer to that." Zuko said with a smile, then his face took on a more serious look. "We need all the help we can get. People still don't fully trust the Fire Nation."

"Or rather people don't trust firebenders. Anyway lets go inside and discuss this, I'm tired I had to come all the way here from the Eastern Air temple. I'm tired and I need a drink." Kasvar slipped in past Zuko. Inside he found some tea and poured himself a drink. "What we need Zuko," he took a drink, "is a victory."

"But with the strength of the Fire Nation Royal Army, that's nearly impossible."Zuko said, pouring himself a drink also. "Many people are also afraid to go against Zula. She spares no mercy to her prisoners. And as I mentioned before, people are still wary to trust Firebenders." Zuko looked at Kasvar. "I've sent people to look for the new Avatar. Perhaps if the Avatar is on our side, people will be more willing to join the resistance."

"perhaps they will join us, but I am afraid that time is not on our side" said a voice from afar Zuko and Kasvar turned to the side of the room and saw a battlescarred woman standing in the corner. Zuko got a look at her and said "so you finally decided to join us then" Jun nodded "I will not fail you, I have unfinished business with the Firenation and I will make sure they will pay, too long I have suffered and its time to end this madness, I will offer you my tracking services..." Zuko nodded as Jun sat down.
*OOC: I am sorry if I overstepped myself zukosfire5 and Kasvar, just trying to make the story progress instead of bouncing between things

Masho wandered the camp and overheard people talking about joining. She made her way to a tent, she poked her head in and saw several people."Um...Hi, I heard you need more people to join the resistance, and I was wondering if I could join."Masho hoped they would trust her and not think she was a spy, because she certainly wasn't.There was wanted posters of her all over the place!Masho waited for a response from one of them.

Zuko saw a gilr poke her head into the tent, and ask to join the resistance. She looked familiar.... "Hey, aren't that girl who's wanted by my sister?" he asked, and motioned for her to sit down. "Let's talk. You seem like a worthy candidate." he said.

"Yes, I'm Zuko, head of this band of misfits." Zuko replied smiling, then became serious. "So you want to join the resistance, huh? It's not going to be an easy life, and if you get caught, Zula will make sure you die painfully and slowly. Are you sure you want to join?"
