Name:[/u] Kyosha
Age:[/u] 16
Gender:[/u] Female
Nation:[/u] Fire
Bender?:[/u] Yes, fire.
Appearance:[/u] Kyosha is 5' 3'' and has lightly tanned skin. She is thin, weighing 107 pounds, and is very flexible.
Kyosha wears a dark red shirt with trimmed sleeves and a yellow sash that runs horizontally across the bottom. She wears burgandy pants that touch the ground when she walks. Kyosha's dark brown hair reaches a little below her shoulders when is is down straight. She also wears bangs. Usually, her hair is up in a high ponytail. Often, her pet messenger hawk Ming follows her around and remains perched on her shoulder.
Personality:[/u] Kyosha is care-free and lives life to its fullest. She almost always obeys the rules laid down by her parents. Kyosha is an enthusiastic person, and when she has a goal in her head, she sets her mind to it.
History:[/u] Kyosha was born in a small town near the fire nation capital. Her father, a master bender, began training her as a firebender at age 3, and since then, her skills have improved greatly. Her grandparents on her mother's side were very wealthy, and therefore, her family is as well.
Although it is custom for wealthy families to marry their children off as they come of age, Kyosha's parents have yet to find her a suitable husband.
Kyosha, although trained by her father, still attends the all girl's academy of firebending in her town, where she is at the top of her class.
The war has had different effects on members of her family. Since she came from a wealthy family, her mother [who does not work] is very proud of her nation and believes that by fighting the war, their prosperity will extend throughout the world.
Kyosha's father on the other hand, is a pascifist and would never hurt a fly. Even though he lives very close to the Fire Nation Capital, he is very much against the war because as a child, his father died in the first attempted invasion of Ba Sing Se at the hands of a fellow Fire Nation Soldier. Currently, Kyosha's father teaches bending at the firebending academy for boys.
Because of the separate views of the war that her parents have, Kyosha was forced to take a stance on the war, and because she had always had strong bond with him, decided to side with her father, causing a rift in her relationship with her mother.
In her spare time, Kyosha likes to roam her town with her friends from school, and visit the local tea shop where her grandmother [on her father's side] works.
