Name: Kazuo (pronounced= ka ZOO oh) (meaning= firstborn son)
Age: 11
Gender: boy
Nation: Fire
Bender: non-bender
Appearance: Kazuo is from the Fire Nation and therefore he has a pale skin. His face is quite of a baby-face because he’s just 11. Kazuo’s hair is jet black and in a ponytail, since that is common in the Fire Nation. The only time he does his hair in a bun, is when he is training in the academy where he practices to become a Yu Yan archer.
Kazuo is a small boy of 5”2 and he is quite slim, like it’s mentioned before, he’s just 11. He trains a lot, so his muscles are trained. Kazuo’s weight is around 68 lbs.
Kazuo wears a Fire-Nation-read blouse underneath his black, short sleeved pullover/ dress that reaches up until his knees. A belt distinguishes the top of the pullover/dress from the lower half. The collar of his blouse is decorated with gold silk. A part of his Fire-Nation-read blouse, from his wrist to his elbow, is covered with a harder material than the rest of his body. This part is darker than his blouse, but slightly lighter than his pullover/dress. The blouse is (from his wrist to a part of his hand) cut into a ‘V’ and is decorated with gold silk. Kazuo’s pants are Fire-Nation-read as well, tugged in his black Fire Nation boots. The Fire Nation boots are decorated with gold metal on the knee-part and on the ankle. The boots are pointy, as all Fire Nation boots. This outfit is his everyday outfit, apart from the days he has to go to the academy near to the city.
His archery outfit is quite complicated. Kazuo wears a vest-like blouse of Fire-Nation-red. Beneath it is grey material. The blouse is partially made of a harder material, that’s from the wrist to the elbow. This material is decorated on the vest-like blouse. Kazuo wears a belt just beneath his stomach. Under his belt is a short skirt-like robe in Fire-Nation-red. His pants are in the color grey, tugged into his boots. Kazuo’s hair is in a high bun and his face is painted red.
Personality:Kazuo is neither optimistic nor pessimistic. He is serious and has the great ability to distinguish reality from his dreams and hopes at his age. Although he is serious, he is still very funny at times with his sister. He is stubborn at times and very ambitious. He is also obedient towards his mother, uncle and archery-teacher. Kazuo thinks he is the man in house because his father is in the war. He wants to protect his mother and sister, but that isn’t necessary, because he’s a Fire Nation noble and son of a man in the government. They are protected sufficient and live in wealthy environment. His sister is always making fun of him because he has to ‘protect’ them. Kazuo is quite quiet, but he still is proud of himself and his father. Sometimes, he gives people the thought that he is arrogant, because it may seem like that, but deep inside his stable body, he has a little heart.
History/ Story: When Kazuo was born, his parents, mother Kozue and father Soji called him Kazuo because he was their first-born son. Long ago his father had to fight in the war (as general) with the Earth Kingdom, which was when Kazuo was two and his baby-sister was born. His sister was called Natsuko. Kazuo was actually the man in the house and he was very fond of his mother and sister. He actually didn’t have to protect them, since they had pretty good lives because their father was a general and a nobleman. He has looked up to his father; he was his idol and role model.
Since his 5th, Kazuo was trying to become a Yu-Yan archer. He went to school a few miles out of the city, to an academy about 4 days a week. It takes about a quarter/half of a normal day to get there. The academy is nearby the camp where many earth benders are hold. Kazuo’s very old uncle, Kenzo was in the city to keep an eye on Kazuo’s mother and sister. Kazuo learnt a lot and he hoped his father would come back one day and see how good he was. The other 3 days of the week Kazuo was very happy to see his family and he played a lot with his sister. Those were more of his happy days in the week, since he had to strive to perfection if he wanted to become an advanced Yu-Yan archer who fought for the Fire Nation.
The father of Kazuo and Natsuko was promoted because of his hard work in the Earth Kingdom (where he was promoted several times and was able to actually lead whole troops without the help of other generals). He worked very hard in the Earth Kingdom, so he was placed in the city where he made a living once ago, so that he could rest while still obtaining his current rank. He was the boss of the camp for earth benders nearby the city. When Admiral Soji came home, he was greeted warmly. Kazuo was so happy, as well as his sister Natsuko (she has never seen him, until now). The greatest thing was that his academy was so close to the camp where his father was in charge. Kazuo wanted to make his father proud, so he was thinking about the fact that he would see his father even more often.
