Name: Jiayi
Gender: Female
Age: Fifteen
Nation: Fire
Bender: Perhaps, but her parents aren't letting her near anything dangerous for a long time.
Hair: Black and very thin. Jiayi grew it to her wasit in the hope that length would make up for the lack of it. Usually she keeps it strung back in a long ponytail with a few strands falling onto her face.
Eyes: Golden and slanted.
Skin: Pale with a few zits here and there. Jiayi is constantly picking at her skin.
Face: Thin and drawn with a prominent chin and flat nose. Jiayi isn't beautiful by any means but she hopes she'll be better looking as she grows up.
Body: She's normal wieght, perhaps a little chubbier than average. She's very tall and gangly.
Strengths: Jiayi is full of energy. Also, because she didn't have very many friends growing up she is a profficient reader and reads scrolls light years above the average fifteen year old's reading level. Jiayi is brutally honest and will stick by her word no matter what, besides being amazingly outgoing and friendly.
Weaknesses: She tends to exagerate things insanely. If her mother tells her to clean her room she'll act as if the fate of the world rests on it. She takes very simple matters way too seriously but can take a huge problem and turn it into a joke. Jiayi is tactless and often offends people without realizing it. She's also clumsy to the point where she can't walk ten feet without breaking something expensive.
Family: Jiayi's mother, Biyu, is neat and orderly. She wants everyone to fit into her little view of the world. A very talented dancer, she was very disapointed when Jiayi broke her favorite tea set trying to dance. Though she's excessively critical of her daughter she worries about her and loves her deep down. Bai, Jiayi's father, is a important noble. Both him and his wife will do anything to become more popular and are nearly obsessed with gaining the Fire Lord's favor. They wanted a sweet, charming daughter and were disapointed when they got clumsy and awkward Jiayi. Jiayi knows very well her parents wish she was better and tries hard to gain their approval. Six months ago, Ting, Jiayi's baby sister was born. Ting seems to be everything Jiayi isn't: sweet, quiet, beautiful. Though Jiayi sometimes gets jealous of Ting, she's accepted that Ting is the better child and she just needs to work harder.
Personality: Jiayi believes everyone is good deep down and whenever someone is angry at her it is her own fault. She likes to think nicely of everyone and is very naive. Jiayi loves meeting people and is very friendly though she has no idea of the social norm and often ends up accidently insulting someone or embarressing herself. She's very romantic and treats the most mundane things as if they were epic. She is also very patriotic and has been known to bake cakes and telling her parents to give them to the Fire Lord. She completely supports anything the Fire Lord does, having a slightly over-glorified version of the war.
History: Her parents, important nobles, sheltered her in their palace partly because they didn't trust her enough to take her with them to parties. Jiayi spent most her life so far at home, reading scrolls and imagining the outside world. She wishes she was graceful and charming like her parents want and blames herself for not being so.
Just tell me what to do and I'll add more.
